Had a much needed Disney day with my wife today. Picked up the Halloween 4- pack of astromechs (R2-B00 witch? R3-B0017 clear green swamp creature, R4-B0018 candy corn and R5-B0019 skeleton) and a single carded R7-FNG (the Dracula of the series). I’m pretty sure all of the 4-pack droids were individually released in the past few years, based on my memory and the years in their names.

They also had the new B2EMO from Andor that I had to have after seeing him in the show. I’d like to get a couple more to do in other colors too.

And finally I found at California Adventure the last of the Lightyear 6” scale Alpha Class figures, Darby Steel. Darby was pictured on the back of the packaging of the other Alpha Class figures but didn’t make it to shelves in that first wave of releases. I saw Darby in the smaller scale box sets and when the Alpha Class didn’t get restocked (after being Buzz heavy in the first shipment) I resigned myself to not likely seeing this one. But getting out of the heat into the A/C of the shops paid off because they had shelves packed with Darby (and a few of Mo). In each of the DCA shops we stopped in Darby was the main Alpha Class figure. Now my collection is complete, unless they release “Zurg” in this scale.

EDIT: oh and in the mail I got a couple Marauder geared-up figures from last weeks sale including their “Wasteland Charlie” and one each of the not-Viper and not-Colonial Marine.

Scored these cool "Party Shot Glass Rings" at Dollar Tree.

The grey rings are removeable and I think the top pieces will make for interesting cargo crates once painted up. I my go back and get a few more sets.

Can you mock up a sphere or dome with them? One of those color change led in the center of a sphere would look very cool.

Turn it the other side down and it will look close to those containers on ST:TNG.
