I'm a sucker for oddballs. So when I'm flipping through gun books or online and I see some wierd custom made stuff from the turn of the century I kind of gravitate towards it.

Asics trail hikers but I just got a new pair of Under Armour I'm breaking in. I have 3 levels of shoes, yard shoes for picking up poop and doing other yard work (usually the most beat up pair not even worthy of donating to Goodwill); everyday going out; and "dress" sneakers fro when we're going somewhere where mud and holes might be frowned upon, but not quite formal shoes either.

I really enjoyed reading Cell.
I loved the original The Stand miniseries on TV.
Pet Sematary, the book, and both movies was awesome.

Tough call, but I lean towards Timothy Zahn for his storytelling style and David Drake for a real military feel to his stories. I believe Drake served in the only or one of the few tank platoons fielded to Vietnam.

We didn't have after-school cartoons when I was a kid. I rode the bus and didn't get home until late. But my favorite saturday morning cartoon was Scooby Doo.
