Found a nice military aircraft book, "Modern Military Aircraft: The World's Fighting Aircraft 1945 to the Present Day", that has a ton of pics and reference notes.

Snagged an imaginext Spongebob figure set from Target. It was the "Mr. SUPERA WESOMENESS & SOUR NOTE" 2-pack. I though the torso of the Patrick figure would work for an ARAH Soft Master. Shoulders even have decent articulation.

In the original "Scramble City", an anime that was produced in and only for Japan, the Transformers cartoon showed combiner limbs combining with others. The gimmick between Menasor, Superion, etc was that anybody could join with anybody. Thats why they had similar head/pin designs.

So they are more or less keeping up with the original intent. Also, as a kid? I would have eaten that up that I could buy who I wanted and still make a huge robot.
