i got this on ebay and tried searching every which way i can think of (google fu weak) to find out what it is from. i saw one more image in very poor condition w/ a polar bear that has similar "action" feature. i checked and the seller i got this from had the bear too so maybe they came as a set. i tried animal planet, wild discovery, chap mei, ice age etc. only markings are china on one inner leg and a few single digit "mold #'s" like 2 iirc.

shown w/destro and a mojo sabertooth for scale. over all it is very cartoony and not cool so i'll either chop it up or let the kiddos beat on it, then chop it up :)

i searched ice age toys and didn't see this figure. there looked to be a female saber cat that was close, but her figures (static and stuffed) were not.

Did you check McDonald's toy's for Ice Age? It sure looks like a Happy Meal toy.

just the ones mentioned dj. i know it's odd. it took 2 times to find china, which i think is required by a law if it is.

i'll google fastfood sabertooth tiger, mcd specifically, and report back.

5 ice age movies, multiple fast food toy lines, but nothing i saw was this piece or even the exact same character.

Haven't been able to find it online yet. I tried using the term "Smilodon".

Personally i thought it looked like a variant or knock off of Shira from Ice Age.

Most images that i've seen of that character in animated form look fairly close.

I'm wondering if it's a sun-faded decoloring rather than actually white and purple?

Definitely looks like the ice age style, but I too have had no luck finding a character with that coloring.

Can't seem to find the same sculpt/action feature, either.

But my bets are either a discolored kids meal toy or bootleg.

it doesn't seem to be faded at all. the paint is the nicest part of it!
