Drongo Vik Special Report from the Rescue Squad Aquatic training center in New Atlantis.
Vik: “Ever since Funskool announced that Super Cop would be taking over the #22 JetHawk RamJet people have been wanting to more about this international crime fighter. We were able to steal him away from his intense training sessions to ask him some of your burning questions.”

Vik: “So, tell me Super Cop, what brings you to the RamJet SuperMotoEnduro?”
Super Cop: “First, Mr Vik, thank you for coming all the way out here and giving me the opportunity to address the fans. I really appreciate it and I know they do too.”
Vik: “Well, all in the name of good reporting.”
SC: “I worked with Funskool in the past on a case. They liked my work ethic and hoped the racing committee would hire me as additional security. That last races have been pretty brutal so far. I told Funskool, who was also looking for a new pilot at the time, why not let me be in the race and experience the dangers first hand to offer safety suggestions.”
Vik: “Do you have any racing experience?”
SC: “No, and I think that was everyone’s major concern going in. But as a law enforcement officer I’ve had to pursue criminals over, under, around through ever obstacle known to man. All those years of high speed chases while being shot at and avoiding civilian losses has helped hone my piloting skills. With that said, we’re also out here at the aquatic center where we usually practice water rescue operations so I can practice over open water and against tentacled beasties before my first race.”
Vik: “Yes, we noticed the new paint and new jet engine on your RamJet as you flew across the water.”
SC: “Yeah, it is a bit more than new paint. Funskool was great about letting us completely overhaul the bike. We kept what worked and improved what wasn’t. The biggest change was adding the new jet engine.”
Vik: “Our cameraman pointed it out, and now we all want to know, is that Robo-“
SC: “Yes, New Detroit’s Omni Consumer Products provided a Robo Auto 9 rocket thruster. Heavier than the dual boosters that were on there, but now the Police Bike is faster and uses fuel more efficiently.
We also added a windshield because we noticed a negative 3% drag coefficient during our wind tunnel testing. I know that might be a little too inside racing, but I also know some fans really dig into all the racing metrics we use.”
Vik: “Do you and your team fully adhere what all the racing metrics tell you?”
SC: “I believe the profile usually fits the profile. If all the evidence is pointing in a certain direction, you have to follow that lead unless you come across something that fits better. It isn’t just numbers and it isn’t just instinct. It is a cross-section juncture of both.”
Vik: “I’m being told that is all the time we have so you can go back out there and practice. Good luck out there.”
SC: “Thanks. We have a lot of fine tuning to do and not a lot of time before the next race. And thank you again for coming out here to speak with me. I’m just going to go out there and give it my all and hopefully things will work out in my favor.”

Vik: “Speaking of metrics and favor it is now time for the next segment, your old pal Drongo Vik’s groundbreaking, bet taking, odds making, ‘Never Tell Me the Odds, Kid’. While the interview with Super Cop was running, odds makers were adjusting his odds. He went from an outside 300 to 1 longshot to 50/50 quick pick. Meaning if you were lucky and stupid enough to get in one of those earlier bets and he wins, then I’m buying that Fhloston Paradise cruise package -er, um, I mean you, you could buy something like your dream vacation package.”
