I know that Crossfire isn't a popular character by any means, but I didn't know what else to do with a Mutt head.

I misread this at first, I thought I would be looking at a CrossHAIRS. as he is one of my faves, I was a bit disapointed.

However, that being said, you seem to have done an amazing job transfering a lesser known/liked figure into a well captured 25th custom.

Great job

Know the feeling, m'man! Only suggestion is to add a dash of color (terra cotta as in the original) maybe to the torso or hand to tone down all of the green. Other than that, solid custom. Great head choice, and nice to see an under-the-radar character given some props!

Yah, ain't no shame here at all; but he could stand to have a few more colors added to him. Maybe a different green on the shirt, as the original's got differing greens in his jacket and pants; and make the straps brown to match the boots. And flesh-painted hands, maybe.

/You should be able to complete all that by the time Bekah graduates.

Yeah, I tried to brown wash him to add some more colors to him. I additionally wanted to give him flesh colored hands but didn't get around to it. I have had so little time lately I wanted to show him before they quit making 25A Joes for the 40th anniversary line.

Yea, I know the feeling I have a four year old grandson who's number one priority is playing with poppa. I like the crossfire update, maybe toss him in a vamp with a helmet and he's perfect. Great idea for the use of the Mutt head.

Crossfire is a very ignored and underrated character. Thanks for giving him some time in the spotlight!

That's a IJ Mutt head right? Looks pretty good on that body especially with the ammo belts. I agree with the changing the green colors to break it up a bit. When you do have time I'd go ahead and follow through witht eh flesh hands too. Might be quicker to just switch them out too.
