Revisiting the Galaxy Rangers

I'm still not sold on the heads for Foxx and Goose so I may end changing both of them. Foxx needs a more intense/angry face and Goose wile this one is new I think I may end up going with a Clint Eastwood head sculpt since that is who he is based on.

Once Slaughter's Renegades appeared in the Joe movie I wanted the figures and grabbed the 3 pack as a kid. Similar to Mindbender I was glad we got them in the ME line, but disappointed in their look. I've attempted to make Red Dog and Taurus more similar to their vintage looks.

Red Dog gets a new head (picked up the cast at a convention), full repaint to flip the jersey colors back to the vintage as the red and white had been inverted for the ME version, painted over the tattoos on his arms, cut up and pieced together some web gear to mimic the vintage and gave him new lower legs to make him a bit shorter so he didn't tower over the others.

Taurus get a sculpted mustache, I sanded off the straps on his shirt, lowered the holster on his chest, swapped out the guns, through on an arm band to his left arm, added a knife to the left leg and gave the legs a repaint.

Okay so here are the updated heads for the Galaxy Rangers.

I went with a more intense look for Foxx. Not sure if I really captured his hair 100% but I'm calling him done. Goose gets an Eastwood head sculpt since that is who he is based on. I was hoping the paint job was done well enough it didn't just look like a blonde Clint but either way like Foxx I'm calling it done.

these look perfect. not a big bond fan, but seeing them all together it's hard not to be.

No Dalton (the best Bond)?! Are these 3D printed heads?

Fantastic work on them, and you did suit colors slide in perfectly with the gist of each particular Bond.

The eye painting is top notch. You didn't just paint the eyes, you managed to have them creating expressions. Wonderful.

Oh man. I would argue Connery is the best. I didn't have a head cast of Dalton or Lazenby or I would definitely have included them. I don't think they are 3D printed. I believe that are shrunken casts. They are from Spartan118.

I decided to do different suits at the last minute and looked up each Bond to see if they favored one over the other. I think it added a nice touch.

I appreciate the comment on the eyes. Those are always tricky to paint. Sometimes I feel like I've done a good job and other times I have to go back and redo them.

Thanks. I appreciate that. It was cool to have them all together in that shot.

Lol. Nah, I was never a fan of Casino Royal so I decided to just keep mine to the main Bond films. I would like to add Dalton at some point though.
