Since I got a pythonized ROCC under my belt, and since my son wants everything pythonized now...I took a stab at the DTC HISS.

Python S.K.I.N. (Sleak Killing & Infantry Navigation unit)....yes, I'm running out of snake names for customs. :-D

Recipe:
Walmart brand Color Place Royal Blue spray paint
Walmart brand Color Place Gloss black spray paint
Krylon Metallic Silver spray paint
Krylon Matte finish clear coat spray
Original HISS repro decals from http://www.gijoeheaven.com

And what is Cobra Commander's new publicity slogan...?

Join Cobra...get your S.K.I.N. ;-)

That is very nicely done. Almost looks like it's texturized. Any chance of seeing some pics of this thing manned by some Python soldiers?

Yeah, that's really cool. I like your "Cobra Blue" Python color scheme much better than the red/green/yellow stuff I've seen (although those are cool too.) Makes me want to try my hand at "Pythonization".

That paint job looks like factory quality, hell even better, you should offer a painting service for pythonizing vehiceles. Excellent work. :-)

Looks Great !! Glad your day was productive. My first attempt at Pythonizing bombed. I have to repaint the bas coat and try again.

Thanks for the feedback...glad you guys like it.

I actually do have alot of commissions in the works for pythonizing at the moment, thanks to HTS super sale.

Flint, I too bombed on my first attempt. But...I found an extra set of hands comes in more handy than you would think...honestly. I enlist the wife for pythonizing projects. Dude...when you come down next month, we'll talk shop...hopefully I can boost your morale into tackling this.

Beautiful, the blue is a perfect color mesh with the black.

That's a beautiful paint job! Hm, I should get some of my DTC Hiss's pythonized.

But, you're going to hate me though -- "Sleek" has two e's. :-}

I have to say I love the fact that you use neon green and bright blue in your PP customs and not just the standard red and yellow or gold.
Wicked cool work!

Ditto, now you need to do a wiki on your technique.

Thanks for the kind words!!

Ha ha...I did misspell sleak didn't I. Guess those beers did catch up to me. :-D

As for a wiki on my technique....its actually the one that is on the board. I couldn't find mesh cloth or shirts, but what I've been using are those Sweater Bags (Lingerie Bags, Childrens Clothes bags). I found them in the housewares aisle of local dept. store.

They are basically mesh bags that you throw in the washer. They have a zipper on them...I just cut them up and use them. The brand I've got is HOMZ Laundry, but I'm sure there are plenty of other brands out there. They are relatively cheap.
