Since I have been spending a good deal of my customizing time lately doing 25th customs, I figured it was time to get back to my roots and do a ARAH figure.

Prairie Dog
Desert Spotter

Head: Freefall
Torso: Footloose (modified)
Arms: Crankcase (I think)
Waist: Bazooka
Legs: TF Dusty

Uzi: 25th Snake Eyes
Pistol: Marauder John
Backpack: TF Recondo
Helmet: Airborne

Let me know what you guys think.

Awesome custom! I love the camo, it looks sharp. And nice choice of colors for the chest! I would have never recognized Footloose's torso.

Fantastic work!

As Always....That's a super slick looking figure...The cammo is spot on, the Mods are clean, and the paint is beyond tight.

I am confused by his Specialty.... Desert Spotter? He dosn't seem to have anything to "spot" with...unless you expect him to use his pants and their spots.

I'm not even sure it's doable...but could you narrow the helmet? maybe heat it up a bit to soften and squeeze it down so it fits a little bit tighter to his head?

I was reading a little bit about prairie dogs and the way they watch/protect their communities. They dig them selves into holes, like a fox hole, and watch the perimeter of their communities and send signals to the rest of their group at the first sign of trouble. That is kind of how I pictured him operating and now that you mentioned it, I realized I forgot to include his binoculars in the pic. Yes, they really were supposed to be there. :shifty:

Now this is what I aspire to do when I customize.

I want my figures to end up looking like this.

Really nice work, kama...

ARAH love all around!

What an incredible custom. Crisp paint job! Perhaps one of the best paint jobs I have ever seen...reminds me of the sgartz, Livevil and grandslam days of joecustoms. After seeing this custom, I will have to go back and check out the Freefall head...love it here. It takes a lot to get me to post these days, and you have certainly done it with this custom. Thank you for giving this old arah dog a good day.

very nice, love it. you get double points from me for it being rah and triple points because of the desert kick I've been on for the last couple months.

Another ARAH fan showing some love for this extremely tight custom. The color scheme is great, usually I am not a fan of non military clothing, for example the brown shirt, but it works very nicely here. The paint is fantastic, I have never tried "cookie dough" camo, and I am not sure I want to after seeing this. It is an awesome testament to what can be accomplished with ARAH parts if a cusomizer has the time and diligence to find the parts at a reasonable price. Perhaps in addition to the binocs you could add some sort of camo netting to him as well. This would allow him to almost have a "gilly suit" so he could be a forward observer for a larger force.

Your paint is as solid as usual. I would have liked to have seen a working holster for his pistol but that is a small nitpick. I get eh uzi as a choice but if you gave a similar small automatic weapon with a scope you probably wouldn't even need the binoculars.

After re-reading that I realize how nitpicky that is. I've got nothing to comment on about the figure itself so I pick apart your weapons selection. That is just a testament to how good the figure is.
