A simple one, but I like how it came out. Feel free to let me know what you think.

Wow - that came out great!

Love the way the gold-tone looks - did you have to mix that, or is there an actual factory color like that out there?

That is a very cool, simple, update that I can actually see Hasbro releasing as a production toy! Great job!

That is really friggin' cool. I'm torn about copying it, as I only have 3 Lampreys. Dang it!

That looks great. I'd buy these in bulk if they were made. Awesome.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it. :-D

Chief, the gold paint is from Tamiya (Gold Leaf X-12).

The base figure is actually Aqua Viper Officer from the RoC Mantis Attack Craft. This guy:

http://yojoe.com/action/09/aquaviperofficer.shtml

I managed to pick him up cheap (minus the sub) at a collector's show a few weeks back. The minute I saw the figure, I saw a Star-Viper custom. The fact that there was very little painting involved was a nice bonus.

My next step is to figure out what vehicle to give him. Since I don't have a Stellar Stilleto, I'll have to find another craft for him to pilot.

Thanks again for looking,

OB

AWESOME!
Maybe you could do an 'infiltration' version, with an AC-DC tee shirt...

Did you do any mods underneath the helmet?

Thanks guys.

Thanks for the suggestion AV, I can definately see the V-Wing in those colors. I might have another idea for a vehicle. Stay tuned...

Jay, the head under the helmet is Para-Viper for now.
