Really glad to see you back in the saddle. There's not a thing I don't like about this figure. Would love to see it at retail.

I hear ya. I'm glad you got this one done then.
(Still have to get those Colonial Marine guns out to you for slinging.)

First Chief and now T. The Celebration is bringing 'em back with a vengeance.

As JFAK said there's nothing I don't like about this figure. It looks like it would fit right in with the other POC figures. The subtlety of the paint with the parts and gear really sell this as a POC figure.

So... what else ya got?

Awesome. The digital camo paint-work is just beautiful.

Nothing to say other than this one totally rocks. Airborne's always been a favorite of mine, and every little detail just screams 'awesome' on this guy. Never occurred to me to paint the different camo colors on the weapons like that (despite seeing so many like that in real-life), but now I can't not do it. Again, the details really put this one over the top.

But wait - shouldn't he have a sling of some kind? ;)

Superb. Absolutely superb.

The parts selection on its own is fantastic but the paint job puts it over the top.

Any chance of pics without the tac vest?

Great to see you back T... this one is as great as the rest.

The paints really bring out the level of detail in the sculpt, and the bulky web gear doesn't look out of place on this guy. You have a really great eye for taking what Hasbro offers and reassemble them into grittier, more realistic looking figures.

Plus, I've always loved Airborne... he and Torpedo are the most underused characters from the 83 lineup.

agree with the others, glad to see ya back with a new fig, really like the paints on him, so realistic looking and a figure that fits in with the POC line, glad you used airbornes head too, one of the best sculpt in the line

Just beautiful, man. I love this custom, and there isn't a thing I would change. I've got a parted-out Airborne sitting on my desk, but I'm considering scrapping it and making myself one of these. My favorite thing about the figure: the attention to detail. The camo looks great (and is a very difficult thing to replicate at that scale), and I love that you added the karabiner to the belt so that he can do his filecard pose. Fantastic work, sir, and it's great to see new work from you. Let's hope it's the start of a trend.

Wow, great work TR, this is one of the most fantastically detail modern customs ive seen. like Sgartz said, its the detail it is more like seeing a dude standing there than a toy.
