Where did you get this one from?

I think it is from the DC Imaginext line. I've found some gems in that line before(Kilowog) that transfer well into Joe scale.

It is indeed. I was looking at using my son's Lego Black Manta helmet, but he made it pretty clear that wasn't going to happen, so I searched on eBay. Almost pulled the trigger on that Hardee's meal toy but kept coming back to Imaginext auctions. When I found one at a reasonable price, I nabbed it.

Glad you guys dig this. I'll definitely look into adding some black to the helmet.

Manta looks way better with a bigger buck. Though you could still repurpose your original as a Manta soldier or Aqualad as a defector as in the 'toon.

I missed that Wonder Woman before. Daaaaaaaaaaang! There were a couple of times as I was reading where I thought the pic in my peripheral was one of those photoshopped pics of models covered in a costume. that is just like...perfection. Like right now, nobody could do a better Wonder Woman build than this.

Oh yeah, Black Manta is pretty good too.

Thanks for the very encouraging words.

Yeah, after my Batman, Diana's probably my favorite ever.

But that won't stop me trying to upgrade and unmask the rest of my older efforts.

Here's another one:

This is a pretty radical departure from my old Deadshot (now on eBay), and much more comic inspired.

I was torn on whether to honor the new Will Smith casting in the forthcoming Suicide Squad movie with the unmasked version, but I really do like Floyd's classic look:

Thoughts?

Wow! This is just great! Awesome job and if you ever wanted to update with a Will Smith head. You could just add one from the MIB line as a substitute. But for me that Biggs is the perfect choice.

if you could lower the unmasked head a little bit more, it'd be about perfect

Thanks,guys.

I must've pulled up on that unmasked head accidentally before snapping the pick (both are on swappable posts). He looks much less giraffe-like when I don't do that.

Super crisp paint lines. Your paint is always very good. Another great update.

Wait, is the yellow some sort of tape or fabric. Looks like a small line was created at the top of T in the stripe on the boots.

Good eye.

Yes, all the yellow is plastic tape, which I wasn't sure I wanted to include because my original build was all red white and silver (probably memories of his initial Justice League toon appearance cluttering my filter).

Something didn't feel dead on about that color scheme, though, and hen I did a reference image search I saw that yellow played a significant part in the costume design.

As of now the yellow is still all removable. But based on the response here I'll clean it and glue it down.

So ever since I made my Ultimate Batman custom in black, I've wanted a version in classic blue.

I got the blank body and glove/belt/head casts from Rodimus a while back and cobbled him together, and this weekend I finally got around to painting him up and making his cape:

And since I was upgrading one fictional billionaire's wardrobe, I felt I had to do something for Lex to set him apart from his battle-armored troopers. Here's how that turned out:

What do you think?

Yeah, I keep saying it - I dig my own Batman quite a bit, but yours consistently makes me question some of my choices on it (and has already inspired more than one change). And I think I like the blue one even better than the awesome black one.

Does it have the same bells and whistles, like the removable gauntlets?

How did you fashion the cape?

Bats is perfect, I always liked the blue/grey more than black. Lex looks so much better too.Way to go on all your new changes and improvements.
