If you have the Indy horse, that'd be a perfect accessory. And don't forget Devil!

pretty cool stuff again man. The thought strikes me that this thread needs more Doc Savage ;)

I can't say it firsthand, but I understand that in the novelization for The Rocketeer, the movie reference to Howard Hughes was made as to Doc. Just food for thought ;)

Thank you, sir! Well then, I think you'll be very pleased with the little "direction" the pieces'll be taking for a little bit... Been definitely feeling the pulp hero vibe, so don't be too surprised if you see Doc, as well as some other compatriots. Maybe even more modern characters re-adapted... :shifty:

Thank you, chaps! It was just one of those pieces you spot on the bench and piece together in your mind. Sold myself in 30 seconds, and found yet another use for Destro's head. Honestly, while putting 'im together, I was thinking, "Shoulda built this sooner." :rotfl:

Really missed Hero and Devil while doing the photo shoot. I brought a spare Timber from the Fodder Graveyard to try and pass as Devil, but when they're standing next to each other, he sticks out like a sore thumb... I'm gonna need to do a full-on re-paint and complete the "team."

Knew I shoulda picked up one of those deluxe Indy horse sets when they went on clearance, but instead opted for a spare Motorcycle Trooper. Hopefully I can pick up a sealed set on the cheap somewhere, 'cuz the horse is awesome AND comes with the gloved Indy...

Nice.

I would love to see this character get another shot at a movie.

Thanks, Spin!

Yeah, Kit deserves a better film treatment than Billy Zane's tour de force... but would Hollywood modernize and mangle it or keep it in the 40s, pulpy tradition? My guess is Justin Bieber donning the purple tights...

Like many fans of Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, I eagerly snapped up any bit of info I could about its sequel... I confess that when I read about Heath Ledger being signed to play The Batman's greatest adversary, I balked. I could honestly say that, while he was a gifted performer, he hadn't been in any movies I liked. The more I read about Ledger & Nolan's take on the character, the more I was intrigued: Glasgow smile, cheap green hair dye, filthy, no ID... then, like everybody else, I was stunned by Ledger's complete transformation into The Joker.

Not only had Ledger become Batman's worst enemy, but also one of the greatest movie villains of all-time.

Completed in May 2013, The Clown Prince of Crime was made primarily from a Marvel Universe Professor X and a third party head. This project has been YEARS in the making, as I intended to make The Joker using the same pieces when they were released as Destro from a San Diego Comic Con exclusive. However, since the set the figure comes from routinely goes for $52-$65, it wasn't exactly in the budget. Then Hasbro was awesome and re-released the figure as Professor Chuck in their Marvel Universe line!

And it would work for any era. Truly timeless design.

Where is that head from? I absolutely need to do one of these. I don't usually have DC in my collection, but this is worth making an exception for.

Raps - I know Trigate used to have them, so maybe now Angel Forge does?

And - from one Doctor to another - awesome work. So glad these Prof X bodies are landing and being put to such great uses.

Oh - and while Joker is awesome - I am equally inspired by the more LBC-ish clown thugs. Those ideas will definitely contribute to some future figures for me.

The thugs are awesome. The villains need their themed flunkies.

Great eye going with the thinner Cobra Commander legs.
