I was thinking last night how much I love that Firefly head. So much character built into that sculpt. Much better than most of the plain faced Joes we've gotten in recent years.

I have wanted to do a Fast Draw for a really long time, but could never figure out parts for him. At one point I almost had one ready to go with the poc duke missiles, but scrapped it.

As I was chatting with another board member about customs, he shared a wip of a figure that instantly clicked to me as a Fast Draw redo, and I was off and running. I kept the drone thinking that the drone would help pinpoint where those missiles are going. The missiles are not as big as the vintage one, but in my mind, I was thinking of the rocket launchers like the Iron Man movies. That, and in battle, what the hell would Fast Draw do once he fired off his two missiles? Go home?

I didn't have to do alot of painting to the base figure, all the steel looking metal and the grey areas are all factory. I did the rest. I gave him the airtight head as I figured it looks like some type of protective gear, since he has missiles firing right next to his head.

Thanks for looking, i might show Recondo next, I am not sure I like him but I'm kinda stuck on him.

I was just sitting here yesterday looking at my Data Viper and wondering what to do with it (I don't like the concept, but the parts are cool) and thought "hey, these gizmos would work great for a Fast Draw update!"

But I had no idea how sweet it might actually look until now. Awesome job!

With the birth of my son in early October, my customizing slowed down for awhile (nothing new since Fast Draw). I have been busy with kids, another project, and the business of the holidays.

I'm looking for some opinions on what figures everyone enjoyed the most, to help me with some ideas kicking around in my head regarding a couple different themes and directions that I want to try next year. Ive got two ideas and i am having some issues/doubts as to which ones to do, or both.
If anyone has a spare minute and could do the poll and tell give me some feedback as to what stuck out to you, it would be greatly appreciated, and will help me figure out where I want to go in the next year. Thanks for everyone that piped in all year long on this thread, and Happy New Year!
