Very cool figure! Sandman is pretty wicked codename for a special forces guy. He's ready to go!
Great use of parts for sure and the camo/paint is really clean man. Thanks too for sharing the technique using the sponge.

You got yourself a great figure there T!

Very well executed and that ACU is perfect!
Another thanks for sharing your technique on that!

The only, very little, critique I have is with his rifle. I've never really been big on the colored furniture on the M4 / M16 family of weapons, but I know a lot of people dig that look. My critique is the paint on the front rails.
Usually the colored parts are the plastic components, which would include the front handguards or rail covers. However that M4 is molded without any rail covers, and I really don't know how likely anyone would be to paint directly on the rails. Especially an elite operative. The added paint could lead to issues with the function of the rails and difficulty adding and removing modular components.

Like I said it's a really minor nit-pick.

Outstanding work, one of your best!

Hmm ya know I never really thought of that when I made the custom I really studied a lot of pics before I painted the custom. durring my hunt for pics I ran in to pics of painted M4s. kinda where I got the idea of the paint patern I went with. but thanks for the input my man I'll try to keep that in mind on my next custom. ;-)

kick ass work, T, I like it

the camo work is astounding here... I might have learned to really start painting camouflage in the last 2 years but modern digital camo still isn't in my skills set I can only dream to do it that well some day.
:shifty:
