KH civvies - perfect. Mr. Silver indeed.

Tony tux - Even better on him then it was on Bruce. The chest touch up really sells it as Stark. Nice touch.

Bruce "winter in Gotham" - I really like everything about this except for the head. He looks really young, like Knightwing young. Maybe it is the combo of that head with the skinnier body but he looks young.

Cap - For the first time I'm liking him unmasked instead of masked. It makes me question why he even has a secret identity. Teh shield does look cool all dirtied up would be neater if there was three parallel scratches across it somewhere, like it came froma claw or something.

Finally an intro to the mysterious Fury. :D

Twin Danvers - Hello Marvel, please read Mr. drb's fiction and accept it as canon.

Blade - Best throw away custom ever. :rotfl: Seriously, that turned out great. Makes me realize how far the hobby has come really.

pluv - glad you like.

On Wayne, I see what you are saying, and I think the main problem is actually the slender Cobra trooper neck post. If there's anything I can change easily, it might be that. I didn't go for a youthful look intentionally, though I did try to got for a bit more of a darker look for his face (even though it's the same base head as used for my other Wayne variations). That said, I do view Wayne in this verse as being still near the start of his caped crusader career, somewhere in the timeline of Batman Begins/The Dark Knight. He's had some success in Gotham, but joined/formed EXCAL pretty early. I don't know how apparent it is, but EXCAL is in some ways a warped take on the "Justice League". In this verse, I'd say The Bat Man is getting involved with it a bit earlier in his career than in the comic timeline (as best I remember it at least).

The Marvel Twins - thank you for the very nice compliment. I kind of wonder if the writers aren't peeking in from time to time - I just recently realized that DC is doing a Batman/Doc Savage story... :shifty: ...haven't checked it out to see if any of my hairbrained write-ups linking the history of the two was prophetic or not. lol.

For Rogers, I also thought that German Soldier head was perfect when I saw it. Has the right mix of tough and Boy Scout wrapped up into one (actually it's more Hitler Youth than Boy Scout, given the source of the base figure, but I digress). I know the sculpt job I did for the masked version is far from flawless, but I was pleased with it as well. On the shield, that's a great idea. I wonder if I can pull off non-random scratch marks as well as the random ones turned out? lol

And Blade, well he won me over during the creation process as well. For what it is worth, those MU Punisher arms took the dark flesh paint exceptionally well (and the blue-black beneath it made for a nice shading color too, to make for a nice transition). The ROC CC torso worked really well here too, but with the arms being so bulky, he kind of needed the extra armor to not look too out of whack (keeping in mind I wanted to stick with the 'spare parts' concept I started with. lol.)

All of this stuff is amazing.

The one thing that really jumps out at me is the "just the right amount" of weathering you did to Cap's shield. Perfect.

Millsy and pn - thanks guys. I am always happy when my stuff pleases the Millsy. lol. And pn, I think you nailed it on the weathering. It's a very tempting thing to keep going, and get too much of a good thing.

The mod to Cap that I think was the most effective (for my goal at least) was the gauntlets. I really wanted a Cap that would be combat ready, and the MU hands wouldn't hold weapons worth a damn. So I replace them with the forearms from one of the articulated Darth Maul figs. With the weathering on them I think they blend in well enough. Still maintains the same swivel joint as the MU version, but now he can really hold a weaon in each hand, and has the added benefit of both hands looking like fists, at least from some angles. Had to drop in a small touch of glue into the hole in each glove to form a good seal for the joint, but they are on there snug as can be now, with no loss of artic.

I love customs that show me how to use a piece that I think is generally ugly or worthless... the Blade figures makes excellent use of that ROC "vest", which I thought looked pretty boring on the COBRA figures it came with. It looks AWESOME here.

Also love the Wraith to Ironman conversion, very inspired.

Great stuff all around.

Thank you very much DotD. I have to confess that the vest on Blade was mostly like dropping the chocolate in the peanut butter by accident - I wish I could claim advance inspiration other than wondering out loud how to cover up his girlish figure better and having that vest on my desk by pure chance. lol
