A wing-ged horse, you say?!?
-- got my PTE Pegasus right here
-- too bad the PTE horses are so small compared to MU figs. They're almost too small for Joes. I'll check out the ones at Target and see if they're any bigger - I could use a bigger one, and give Whitey here to Valkyrie.
I know what you're saying about Dane's torso, Hypno, but it's really not noticeable when there's no camera flash. And it was the best one for girth & height, so I'm keeping it. I did sand down quite a bit of Cap's stripes, but again, the flash brings them out - in hand, you can barely see them.
Herc keeps his pants. I have a rule - nobody should be wearing visible panties in my 'verse. That means Batman doesn't wear his Underoos on the outside of his tights, and 3000-year old demi-gods put on pants in the 21st century. The exceptions are Superman (he's an alien, and therefore immune to fashion criticism) and Tarzan, since he's f*cking Tarzan
I thought about a club for Herc - and while I prefer the sword/shield combo (since this isn't Marvel's Herc), but your idea to use the Red Ninja thing is pretty cool - I'll have to try it, P-luver.
Onyx -- Angel's head is a Joe vs Cobra Blowtorch head with sculpted hair.
I'm surprised at all the Rick Jones love - it used to be my Peter Parker custom (and can still serve in that purpose if need be.) I was thinking of using it to make an Amadeus Cho, but thought it was too muscular - so it worked perfectly for Rick once I found that head. Since he is of smaller stature than the other MU figs, I just figure that this Rick's still a teen and hasn't gone through all that Mar-vell/hippie rockstar/A-Bomb stuff yet.
I'm telling ya - the more I read the old Marvel comics from the 60s-70s, the more I realize how utterly corny (yet endearingly entertaining) the stories are. Even worse now that we need a new Major Crossover every year. Screw it - I'm re-booting the Marvel Universe to fit my own purposes -- who's with me?!?
Thanks again for the input, guys!
