You all crack me up. I put all that work into the gear and you like the parts swap figure better.
Sigh.........
As for the stripes. I had a good hand day ( Can't feel a damn thing today) The stripes and the symbol only took a couple of tries and cleanup painting.
Took about and hour each.
It isn't anything against your work and design. The backpack is far better than the original. With it on though he's a pretty average space man looking custom. With it off, he's very sharp looking. The added accessory, while cool, hides some of your best work on him. Excellent custom.
Oh I know, I just found it to be funny.

Awesome. I love Super Joe too. I wasn't even born when they came out, but something about the lack of the unknown makes them cool for me. Add that to the insanely small amount of info about Super Joe on the Internet.
Great custom btw. Gear is very nice. It's about time he had a helmet in space.
Oh man I'm old
Thank you sir for the comment.

I know that I am not the oldest on here, but I am one of them. I remember that I had all of the old Action Man figures as well as GI Joe, Steve Rogers (6 Mill$ man) and the Bigfoot toy. Some were mine and others hand me downs.
I really love the look you got on this figure. He still reminds me of Dr Zarkov in that dark suit and the beard. I always wanted a 12in Flash Gordon to fight with Bigfoot... But Dr Z had to do it for me.
Great work on rethinking his gear. Very original and practical. You did an outstanding job on the gear, but I have to agree with the others. The figure truly steals the show on this one. You did a great job on the colors and making them crisp.
Thanks Lance I figured you'd remember him. I actually had this body ready to be a Flash Gorden but saw Super Joe and just had to make him.

Well being one of the few who played with the original Super Joe and still likes him, I say great job! You did a great job making him in 3 3/4" form. Really love that head. I was planning on starting on making some Super Joe customs when I am done with the current GP, so now you set the bar pretty high on this one. Any plans for the other Super Joe characters? Super Joe Commander, Gor, Sheild, Luminos, and Terron?
Michael
Bulletman Big B
Thanks TN
Nope no more from that verse for now I wanted to make the commander here to fit into JFAKS EOD verse. So Joe is the clone of the original Joe Colton. He was raised by the Space Command and told stories of his progenitors career. The last know whereabouts of Colton and his Adventure Team had them In south America on a mission for Duke to check out reports of "zombie attacks". It was the last know location of the team.
Joe always wondered what happen to the original and went rouge when Space command developed the experimental time machine. Joe broke in set the coordinates for the last know location of the Adventure Team and time jumped.
There have been no reports since for Joe since that day.
