Have you mentioned where you're getting the LEGOs? Are you just scavenging pre-existing sets or ordering specific parts from them? If the latter, care to mention part numbers and prices? A lot of these ideas are definitely swipeable.
Hey thanks for all the comments so far, always appreciated when people see the time spent and money on something. I really find it a challenge
I might of mentioned this before, but if not it can't hurt to share. The place I order from is bricklink.
http://www.bricklink.com/I can offer people how-to's, i've done this in the past when building my soda machine and other projects. The how-to's also include parts numbers and instructions and pictures.
Bricklink is similar to ebay in that you can shop for lego specific pieces, figures or parts and buy from a seller directly, of course the other option is to scavenge from other existing sets. Sometimes thats the only way to acquire certain pieces, especially if they are 'promotional' but i'd imagine most building projects are done using either PAB or Bricklink.
The legoshop.com online has the pick a brick feature (PAB) it's like picknmix but with legos
Lego take a little longer in shipping your stuff out because they have more orders to get through but they are very good when they arrive.
The communications room is my 2nd building project and will be worked on alot more when i've completed the shipping container build. I'd like to finish that in full before i do any more on the comms room. If your interested in seeing how I built up the consoles or a specific furniture item just let me know and i'll run through the parts list.
In friendship
