Finally finished his stand. I've done sceniced stands for most of my non-Joe customs, but this is the first time there's been any sculpting involved. The two big rocks are Apoxie sculpt. I used some cheap foam rubber packing material to put some texture on them. I painted them gray, did washes in two different colors on them, then drybrushed them with a lighter shade of gray. The other stones are model railroad scenery materials, that I washed and drybrushed after they were glued down to make them match the sculpted rocks a little better. Acrylic foot pegs, as usual.

This custom is full of win:
- armoured werewolf
- futuristic B.A.-looking mask
- working scabbard
- Predator-like shoulder cannon
- scratch-built

Thanks! :-D

He's very Predator inspired. Even the visor draws inspiration from the original Predator's mask.

Not sure how I missed this the first time through but da-yum!

Pluv was right about the accessories raising the bar. I can't imagine how much time and effort must have gone into the battle stand, let alone that freaking awesome functional backpack!

I'm not usually one for the sci-fi/fantasy figures (which is weird, given my taste in movies and video games), but I'd buy the hell out of this at retail or through some limited and punitively-priced online subscription service. For this level of craftsmanship, it would totally be worth it.

Thanks, guys!

I can't speculate how long it took me to make those. I build something like that, think "Well, that didn't take long. WHOA! When did it get this late?"

Just incredible!!! I'm floored by the micro-engineering involved here... details & the paint apps R off the scale!!!
