I'm going to agree with pluv here. It's a great figure, and the parts choices are all perfect. I know the eyes are one of the hardest things, but as far as I'm concerned it's the only thing keeping these two figs from being perfect in execution as well as design.
My advice is, even if you're not going to get all the fine detail within the eye itself, is to at least go over the edges of the eye with the flesh color paint to "shape" the eye a bit more naturally. In this case, the wide-eyed look might be fitting, given the character and his sculpted expression. But I think if generally you did that, it would tighten up the look and these would be all set.
