pluv, those pics are the previous version. Scroll down to the last post on page 1 for the update - no holsters.
That said, since all my heroes are kind of like commandos in EXCAL, he'll still have the holsters too from time to time. More for his international work, rather than crime fighting.
(oh, and various versions of Bats over the years have used the double shoulder holsters, for what that is worth...)
