Dodger - When driving high-tech armored fighting vehicles, it is often easy to get carried away and rely heavily on the new technology. Dodger may be considered a techno-nerd for his fascination with the latest in armored fighting technology the likes of which include night-vision, thermal imaging, Doppler radars and computer driven multi-mode displays. But to say that he depends on them is absolutely wrong. He has long been driving tanks and other tracked vehicles since way back that he relies more on guts and instinct to get by battlefield conditions. When all the plan, tech and gadgets fail Dodger isn't dependent on them, and that makes him someone you can depend on. He makes sure to finish the mission, no matter his loss. This was proven the day he lost his entire team yet still managed to suppy support to the extraction team in Benzheen. Lifeline noted in his medical report the the kevlar titanium mesh tunic that Dodger was wearing is what alowed him to survive the shrapnel and heat blast. Afterwards Dodger retreated into the R&D unit to insure the teams protective gear would withstand virtually anything Cobra could cook up.

Knockdown - It is often speculated that Knockdown's fear of flying is what contributed to his feel the need to take down whatever is in the air. He has a reputation for perfect record in skeet shooting and an uncanny ability to pluck anything out of the air, be it a paper plane, a fly or moth. He went on to study engineering, excelling in microwave and radar technology. He was tapped as a crew member for the Sgt. York project that while it was canceled still saw him move on to several other classified weapons projects in the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. His knowledge in his chosen vocation has proven to be invaluable where electronic breakdowns occur anytime during battlefield conditions. Should the detection technology fail, he is able to demonstrate said uncanny ability to shoot down anything in the air even if it has to be anti-aircraft cannons.

Better than the originals. You took everything that worked and amped it up while toning down the stuff that they overdid.

Not sure how I missed this up until now, but these are turning out great.

BF2K hit just in time to catch my attention before I started tuning out Joe, so they hold a special place in my memory.

These figures do them proud.

I finished culling the parts for Blocker and Maverick, have a vague idea planned for Deejay and Coolbreeze but I'll get to them much later with the rest of 1989... troubling to me is what's coming up with the rest of 1987... Payload and Steamroller are becoming a planning nightmare, and Taurus has all that yellow, luckly the rawhides where my very first sigma customs... now they all need to be redone... then it's back to 1982 to fill in the cobra agents up to this point. maybe tossing in a Red Shadow or Venom agent. and finishing a few commissions

I had to redo an entire invoice at work because Knockdown's design hit me like wildfire

Should start working on Falcon and Chuckles soon, need to decide if I am going with Original, Night Force or Sonic for falcon... not seriously considering sonic, too many "Spark" related memories of failure

Chuckles shirt has to be fabric. That will rock.

ive never really been a sigma 6 fan, but these customs are really getting me thinking about getting into that line. Awesome work, these look great.

Six distinct Sigma 6 customs are hard enough to do, but to so accurately update ARAH figures in this format, and to take figures that were poorly executed the first time and make such winners here, kudos, sir. My only critique is that you need to post more group shots.

As always, looking forward to more.

I've always liked the Sig6 figures coz they're kinda quirky, and have never owned any, but I am always impressed when someone knocks out a great custom using them. These guys look great, very impressive, and instantly identifiable as who they are.

So, is your next project going to be Sig6 scale BF2K vehicles?

I'll be doing more group shots, I'm getting to that point in ARAH where groups where the thing

I'm working on these in pairs, I liked the cadence it created in finishing BF2k

when I get to DeeJay I plan on making his BF2K partner CoolBreeze...

Tiger Force is on the horizon once I finish the 1987 joes and catch up cobra to 1987
but I plan on making the members fill-in characters rather than Duke, Bazooka and so on
For instance Mangler will be made using TF Dusty's uniform design with the tiger parts toned down a lot, Daemon will be Tripwire, mostly characters that didn't get smalljoe releases
Wreckage and Sabretooth will be separate characters
A couple of Retaliation Joes with elaborate why they are alive bios for Mouse and Havoc

I've decided that vehicles are just too big for this scale, cycles and atv are fine but aside from that it's just too space consuming
