The manufacturer I was planning on using doesn't use 3D models for their production process though, they want to sculpt a prototype. I will either have to find a new manufacturer or not use the 3D model. Here's some work in progress pictures of the figure model anyway. The model is not my work.

Nice work on this. No swivel arm?

it is swivel. The different shades of red denote different pieces on the arm.

I haven't been posting my updates here, but I will not be using the 3D model for the project even though it has been completed. This is the work in progress of the prototype. Some of the external detail and all of the internal detailing still needs to be done.

Looks pretty solid. She might not fit aesthetically among the 1982 figures, but if you think of her as 1986-1990 figure in a uniform based on the 1982 uniform, she looks great.

Feel free to disreguard if these issues have been fixed as the prototype has been finished.

I assume the articulation will be added at a later point...

She looks like she'll suffer from "diaper crotch" and an inability to sit properly.

The chest proportions seema bit off...her waist seems really small.

The neck seems rather long and the eyes aren't quite ARAH looking

Lastly the cuff detail i think is a bit too big...it goes up the arm too far.

I'm working with the sculptor(s) to try to fix a few things. That's the beauty of wax, nothing is set in stone.

i agree with nova on two parts, the cuff detail is a little long and waist/hip/leg area seems a little odd. this is probably the hardest part to get right. i can count on less than one hand the number of female joes that hips and legs that both looked like a girl and functioned properly regarding leg articulation. you are doing a great job so far and i look forward to seeing the finished project.

She is looking very good so far. Would you say her parts are compatible with ARAH?
