The mods to that head to make Gung Ho are sweet. No longer will I settle for the unmodified head I was using.

Tara is cool too. Reminscent of Aeon Flux, to be sure, but still very cool. Are you pairing her up with a lion, like you mentioned for the original concept?

I was gonna mention drbindy would like this one, but you already commented.

I like Tara. Parts work well and the visual design is cool.

Tara looks very well done, nice job on her.

Gung-Ho, IMHO needs his neck painted, it doesn't seem right for him to be wearing a turtle neck with short sleeves :-P

Ambush looks very cool, nice job on all of them.

I like her and your idea of adding the 3rd shade in her pants

Thanks everyone. I did pair Tara up with a lion when I mailed her to Arizona, I just did not take a picture of it.

I've made a Deathstroke in every form of 3 3/4 Joes now.
Earlie Versions:
http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/custo ... =23&id=520
http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/custo ... 23&id=3900

Easily my favorite DC character outside of Batman.
I combined various elements of different costumes from over the years into this suit.

I used a paint called leather for the orange to stray away from the gaudiness of running around with orange boots. Leather turned out to be a great substitute, and helps keep the figure a little more realistic. I dulled the blue and the armor was scuffed up with a dremel.

Parts:
Head-VvV Beachead modified
Upper Torso-Renegades trooper
Upper Arms-Renegades trooper
Lower Torso-Jungle Viper
Forearms-Destro
Upper Legs-Steel Brigade
Lower legs-Retaliation trooper
Armor-BBQ 25th
Sword-Serpentor
Elbow Pads-jungle viper kneepads

Nice job, it is like if you got the ARAH version and transformed it into Modern.

Very nicely done. More real world feeling while still having that comic book feel to him.

With the release of the massive Rock figure, I thought for sure I had found a solution to my previous Gung Ho custom, which was bulk.
It didn't work out quite as I had planned it, even after I had swapped the originals resolute arms onto Rock here, the custom head I had done was just too damn small. And the nice hat the first custom had was too small for Rock's head.
So, I bought a second Rock, gave him matching forearms, added some big hairy eyebrows and a monster mustache.
Battle Kata Gung Ho! yay!

perhaps this will give people something to do with Battle Kata Roadblock once the ultimate version hits the stands.

Whole figure-roadblock with green stuff mustache and eyebrows
Hat- VvV Gung Ho
Vest- Crossbones Cpt. America figure
Pouches and holster from a BBI figure
Gung Ho was given a light wash to make him a little more dirty, and some drybrushed hair, to make his head look a little hairy, like stubble. Sealed with matte finish.
