Holy crap. I mean, so many customs in one place. Plus, the set you have must be massive. I can't wait to see where you go with it next!

I have the "where" and I have the "how". Working on the "who" (and by that I mean looking for your headsculpt...lol)

As for when shooting will resume, only The Spectre knows...actually that's not true. But I don't know and that's all that counts ;)

Thanks for the comments fellas. And for reading such a monster of a post.

I will post some figure-by-figure info later. A few obvious and a couple not so obvious JCers appeared. Some obvious non-JC content as well, like the Space Chimp initially mistaken as Chief...lol... That might be my personal favorite figure of the lot.

And to those who did read the whole thing, I reward you with this picture of Chief eating an ice cream cone...

All I have to Say is Epic Space Chimp Cheif for the win. Loved this whole episode, and the reveal of Pluv N Beaves great timing.

I don 't know what to say. That isn't where I keep my beav.

I think I'd still like this story even if it weren't for all the cameos and in jokes (hehe). The story is compelling enough and the humor is enough to keep things light.

Glad to hear it. From the get-go this project was meant to be a fun way to add some JCers customs to my verse, but to have it be a light side-story to my more serious Sci-fi set up.

I'm glad everyone has taken the portrayals in stride. Though I haven't heard from a good number of my targets, so maybe I presume too much? lol

Some details on the figures, and WIP shots. Here is the Space Chimp in a mostly complete stage (but before the decals he has in the scene itself):

I think I explained somewhere how I started out with this being just a prop - I was going to sculpt a space suit look onto a Schleich ape exclusively for a bit of a space chimp joke about Chief, which Silent Master put me up to. I wasn't happy with the result, and ended up making this figure. He talks, so he's not simply an ape, but more of a mutant. Now is one of my favorite figures.

In the story he identified himself as Captain Jungleboots. To explain the weird name, I will disclose only that my son used to play a lot of "Monkey Quest" and that one of his main characters was named Gogo Jungleboots. Nuff said.

Oh, and here's a WIP shot:

Yup, that's a Bilbo Baggins body with a sculpted over Gollum head.

with apologies for the cluttered background, here is the Jem figure from the "holo show" in normal lighting. I didn't use a filter for that part of the shoot btw, just a regular old red lightbulb...
