  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

I liked your idea for interchangeable cloth backdrops. I'm sure you of all people could find the right fabrics to represent different weather environments and time of day. :D

Impressive on both counts, the Neo and the city slice.

Cloth backdrops? Get a tight muslin or some other cloth that will take paint well, but won't ruin the illusion due to the fiber showing up upon flashes. I know that MichToy.com makes some commercial backdrops of all periods, but the best I have come across came from LeMax, the Christmas village people. I found two huge paper backdrops, one wispy cloudy blue day, and the other one, a clean night with the full moon on it.
I got them to use with my Shadowdale city I made, so I can change the scenes from day to night. Maybe try Dept. 56 as well. They make a range of photorealistic backdrops for their line of villages.

thanks for ressurecting the thread!

I currently have all my appleseed 3 3/4 figs attacking my green mech from years back,
mixed in is some joecon head hunter stormtroopers hitting the bank,

Ive got some new Anikka yakuza designs coming up,

hoping to have gotham style addons later!
