I really like these BAT drones. Very nice use of parts and great paint apps.

Late to the party, but holy hell those Swarm drones and BAT are amazeballs. Love the concept and execution on these - and it gives me ideas for all my little mini-vehicles that are taking up space in various bins.

agree with Chief. Dusty, the execution on those drones is essentially flawless.

Cobra SWARM meet GI Joe bug spray! Hawk calls in the heavy hitters and GI Joe pushes back with the SWARM Hunters!

Oh that is sweet...

For next year, might I suggest adding a MSRP to each entry?

Always fun to see other toylines integrated into GI Joe and Starcom is a welcome addition. Not sure SWARM Hunters is the best use of them, but I won't lie, I'll take them anyway I can get them.

I have mixed feelings. First, I have no internal conflict on the customs themselves - the last few rounds have been especially awesome.

But I can't shake the feeling that from the SWARM on, this is really a fantastic portfolio for a new property, distinct from Joe/Cobra. So I'm loving the figures, but I'm feeling like it would be maybe even better as a stand alone line.

Now - I was thinking that before I made the Starcom realization. I'm big on mixing together my 80s properties, so I like that. But it does kind of emphasize the feeling that this would have been an amazing non-Joe 80's toon.

That's all just a personal interpretation though. There's really no critique in there.

If I had to make a critique it would be the opponent of the SWARM shouldn't be SWARM Hunters (too derivative)... it should be something bold like the EXTERMINATORS.

lol

Whoa -- STARCOM meets G.I. JOE! I didn't see that one coming!

"Epic" would be an understatement for that SWARM Hunters set. Absolutely incredible!

I get what you are saying. That is a really interesting way of looking at it. I had not considered it like that. I think part of the disconnect might come from the fact that Starcom was a space based story and the SWARM is very sci-fi. It may have been better suited to a Star Brigade crossover. Still, it's the kind of plan the Sunbow Cobra Commander could have come up with I think.

They probably won't stay the SWARM Hunters in my verse for long. Bucky and Dusty79 made most of the SWARM so the team won't have anything to hunt. Lol.

Thanks! We had that last year for Resurgence I and we discussed bringing it back this year. We decided against it for a couple of reasons.

First, it was harder to keep track of what was priced how. Resurgence II has a few oddball sets with multiple figures and vehicles that don't fit into the traditional Hasbro price structure.

Also, it proved a bit of a distraction during last year's reveals. A lot of people commented on the MSRPs saying they were too low or unrealistic. In reality, they were simply pulled from various Hasbro booths and they were only for fun. We thought it best to avoid the whole debate altogether this time around ;-)

Those MSRPs also made some people think it was real no matter how many times it was said that is was just a customs project. Every few days someone seemed to comment somewhere asking if it was real.

Now that the SWARM Hunters have swatted the SWARM, GI Joe calls in the relief force to stabilize and secure Gold Springs. However, Cobra may not have played its last card. Stay tuned to the next exciting episode of GI Joe Resurgence!

Such a great looking set. The dio shots are great, love that last one with the swarm skull in the foreground.

I am wondering if Tracer from round 1 will make a return (unless I missed where he was captured/killed). Seems like his Pac/Rats would be challenged by the SWARM...

As a general fan of the steel brigade - I love your execution on these guys, great stuff!
