i love seeing the group shots! that last guy looks like a cartoon robot who got bopped on his head :) you nailed him though!

I appreciate it.

Wait, that's all the CROOKS? Outstanding! Always loved your work. How do you hammer out and plan so many guys ready to go is beyond me. Fantastic work especially on COPS.

That's all of them from the cartoon and the toy line. One of my favorites lines from my childhood. Well....it appears much quicker than it is. I'll work on multiple customs all at the same time and then spread out posting them as I do touch ups and seal them etc.

Sizemore. I know you can do this.

Ah the cancelled wave of Visionaries. The only additional Visionies I have planned is Cravex to got with my Cryotek, Darkstorm and Whitterquick customs and the Leoric from Hasbro. The problem with Visionaries customs is I use 25th BATS to make them and those things are big $$$$$. I've sacrificed four for Visionaries so far. If I can find some for cheap then I'll definitely add some though.

Starcom had a short lived cartoon and a pretty cool toy line in the 80s.

Thanks. Yeah the cartoon was only like 12 or 13 episodes I think and I hardly remembered it. The toys were pretty cool though.

Thanks I appreciate that. The 80s project really has gotten much bigger than I had ever intended and has become pretty much the only customs I make.

The helmets are casts that Avacslab has (he is awesome btw) I just painted them once I got them. The were cast in clear.

What do you use to seal them? Vallejo by any chance?

I always used a brush on sealer Model Masters Flat or Gloss Coat depending on what I wanted to accomplish, but Model Masters is no more so I've switched to Testor Dull Coat. They also make a Gloss Coat as well. Both are brush on sealers that seem to work really well.

I decided since I was so close to having the entire line complete I would concentrate on finishing off the entire C.O.P.S. lineup with the final five.

those are some of the best you've shown from that line. really nice translations. you should be super proud of those group shots.

You did it! The entire COPS and CROOKS groups complete! This is more than impressive. I didn't even know they made so many characters! Truly inspiring work.

Thanks. Of all the groups they are probably my signature customs of my Best of the 80s project so glad to have all of them made.

Thanks. I appreciate it. Glad to have them all done, but setting up those group shots where everybody is posed and can be seen is a nightmare.

I did not know about Bionic 6 until your customs, if I'm being honest. Never aired in my country. Looks cool. I noticed when it came to dealing with those transluscent parts, you just used paint instead. I've been wondering how to deal with clear figures like X-Men's Iceman or a LOTR spectre, but I see now that sometimes, painting is flat could suffice depending. Great work.

yours are so much better! you should try a scary/realistic robot ape cyborg with your custom set.
