Thanks guys.

Went back into movie-verse mode this week to fill a long-standing gap in my collection:

I truly despised the MU Blade we got way back when the line first started. And because I was so focused on tweaking or making the characters I needed to fill out my ranks of Marvel's a-listers, Blade fell kind'a by the wayside. It wasn't until I saw Blade 2 was back on Netflix that I decided to try and bring Snipes' classic incarnation to life in plastic:

The parts are all fodder bin stuff. The arms, torso and upper legs of a midnight Chinese black movie Sabertooth, the lower legs and feet of a 25th Viper, the hands of Retaliation Roadblock and the head of Rise of Cobra Heavy Duty.

Here he is making friends with Morbius:

What do you guys think?

Looks awesome. Only thing I could possibly recommend is to track down one of the Snipes heads floating around out in the casting wilderness

the whole custom is 10/10. I did a lbc blade back during cc, your version puts it to shame!

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'm surprisingly pleased with the way Blade turned out.

And now for a character I never would'v e thought I'd try:

What with the Doctor Strange movie fast approaching, I was looking at my rotating dio display (which I always tie into something from the MCU) and realized I had no good Strange villains in my collection. So I ripped apart a spare Baron Zemo and went to work on him.

Here he is in the still under-construction Battlle for Limbo setup:

Excellent! Such an underused character. This is the first time I've seen someone make a figure of him.

I had to check the web for that character, didn't know him. You've nailed it with that custom!

Thanks for the kind words on Dormammu, guys. He was an itch I wanted to scratch in time for Halloween.

And speaking of playing dress up, it always bothered me that we got two She Hulks in the MU line and neither was in her FF gear. So I decided to fix that:

This is a straight-up repaint of the comic pack Shulkie with lower legs/feet from a spare single card and some hands from a Future Foundation Sue Storm.

Here's how she looks with the rest of the team:

And here's a fun little action shot:
