She is looking very good so far. Would you say her parts are compatible with ARAH?

It's doubtful since they figure was made from scratch, not built on an existing figure.

Here is a more updated picture. Any other suggestions or feedback are more than welcomed.

I'm looking at it and trying to figure out what seems off.

After a few seconds, I realized the waist piece isn't like the other ARAH figures.

Maybe others call it diaper crotch, but the ARAH figures had the narrow piece of plastic over the groin area. This one has a solid piece, which looks like there is just too much plastic. IF that plastic could be trimmed down some, I think you'd have a real winner as it would fit in with the other 82/83 figures.

I agree on the center crotch piece, and I also think the arms are still a little too long -

if you cut those cuffs in half, i think you're arms will be at the right length.

also: sign me up for one. i'm not joking.

I agree about the crotch- and arm things, but I'm very impressed by the details on her chest and head. Great project!

Still working on the waist piece. About the arm length though. When comparing to vintage Lady Jaye the arms are about the same length. I don't know, maybe it's the camera angle?

How do the legs compare to vintage Lady Jaye?

Could be the proportions... if the rest of the figure (torso, waist, thighs) are smaller than Lady Jaye...the arms are going to look out of proportion even though they're OK looking when comparing just the arms..

Can you do a side by side pic with a couple ARAH female Joes? Lady Jaye, jinx or Zarana, Scarlett or Baroness or Cover girl.

I can't get a perfect side by side, since I am not doing the sculpt work. This is as close as I can get for a comparison.

I think arms are looking longer because they're thinner then the RAH arms

the arms actually remind me of '82 arms- being slightly thinner. Can't wait to see this finished. Just a fantastic project.

I feel like the waist is longer and the legs shorter than Lady Jaye, which might be what is throwing off the proportions.

Lady J seems to have a lot less crotch. Well sort of. the lady bits area looks thicker but the part above the thighs seems smaller, like there is more of an opening for the thighs. The legs look smaller than LJ's but then so does the rest of the figure. but really comparing to LJ the feet look small. torso head and arms I am fine with, though the cuff adjust would make them all awesome. either way even without the changes I'd still buy her.

I've been posting this project all over the place and because of that I have been forgetting to explain my intentions with this project at some places. The ultimate goal is for this figure to be factory manufactured. The prototype model is being sculpted by professional toy sculptors, it is not my work.

I bring this up now because I am playing around with repaint ideas. Because of the high production costs I do not believe I could sell enough of this figure to recuperate my expenses. I would need to repaint the figure and sell more of them. Here are some ideas I have come up with. Let me know of any suggestions or if you like any of these ideas.

1. Sunbow Greenshirt
I would need to have an alternate head for this one to work. One with the helmet as depicted in the episode 'Call of the Siren'.
Image

2. Amber
This one would obviously be taking great liberties in design. Amber's outfit in 'Lasers in the Night' is more akin to Jinx's, but since the outfit only appears in one scene I don't think it's a big deal. The colors are correct, or this could be her uniform if she ended up joining the Joe team.
Image

3. Scarlett
Okay, this one turned out terrible but here it is anyway. I was thinking about updating Scarlett's uniform to match the rest of the O13 while keeping her coloring. It didn't work out so well...

You say it didnt work out real well but I like that look for Scarlett much more than her tired old leotard.

I want a Shooter figure too.
