it's been awhile since I sat down to edit pics, just exhausted from pre christmas rush at work. I did have some great shots of warduke/warhorse/wardog that I wanted to share. I've been trying different material to get warduke to sit in the saddle better, and ended up completely rebuilding him.

new skirt

new base for duke. I also added some detail bits and made some additions to the horse w/fur detail saddle pad and skull trophies.

scabbard is 1/2 of tmnt leo.

I think i'm happy with this version, just need paint. shoulder pad is cut from a batman cape and soft skirt from same cape

shot of my working pile of stuff....

trying out some figures for my fantasy set. these three would join with warduke as "Dragon Hunters"
Image
all basically lbc's so far. the executioner looking guy wielding my battle axe is Darkness or The Darkness. the archer screams Cheech to me. the we-man wielding one of my custom short swords is the only member i'm not 100% sold on.

this battle flag got the whole idea going.

loving all of it. I actually think the horse is a $1 Dollar tree horse which makes the work you've done to it all the more amazing. Jaw-dropping amazing.

Love the paint on the dog too. And the new fantasy set also looking promising. I hope your creativity never waivers bro. You make it interesting to visit the site daily.

i'm still working on my dragon hunter guys, but I scrapped the yellow dragon. I only kept the head to use on a trophy wall. my new dragon is from dragonheart I think and it came to me headless. I added a schlech? techno dragon head. next fill in work with some sculpt, then paint.

making some dragon skulls for my trophy wall got me back working on these, it also got me going on another project that will tie in to my fantasy realm. I've been wanting to make a predator custom since I started customs, not there yet but I just wipped up a few trophies for the hunter :) I got the heads/skulls in an ebay miscast lot and the spines are from slightly bigger scale Halloween skeletons. several rounds of paint plus a couple of clear.

I just ordered the funko predator figures from china. hopefully when they land I can get going on my custom(s).

some more dio pieces I painted the other day :)same can of spray paint I used for space lord destroy.

schleich falcon on top of playmation base for a interesting statue.

small tiger as decorative sculpture

small dragon heads from generic castle. i'm not sure if these will be decorative or top weapons.

davinci code game tokens

I got these little snakes from Serpentor II a while back. I just got the idea to use these dollar tree glitter bottles as specimen jars. I added some green paint to the water. I wish I had kept more of them now! light makes a big difference for pics. I cut the snakes to get them to bend more, in hindsight I should of used a lighter to heat and bend them. I guess it is ok for specimens to have cuts in them, but it bothers me visually.

Nice, I have some jars I was just looking at and debating about what to put in them. I love the specimen idea.
