  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

From time to time I like to co-opt select GI Joe characters into my Lance Sputnik adventure world. This is one of those. The new sculpt era was mostly terrible, apart from the design teams willingness/eagerness to give us outstanding concepts, accessories, and most significantly, new characters. I always liked Agent Faces, and I want a master of disguise/spy/investigator to try my wits against sometimes.

I posted this a few weeks ago, but went back and added some more to it. I added the second arm, and dumped a bunch of glow in the dark fabric paint that we were going to throw away into it.

A thing I like to do, is take a character and make several customs to cram them into all sorts of different adventures. Here is my first, universal doctor Mindbender. His generic science suit.

the sam jackson is great! i need to track down that combo. i have a lot of his sw heads ,but the skintone is all lighter iirc, his lenard kong island heads are good, but have a marine cap on. you need a plane with some snakes on it!

that lady zarana got a big ol' head.

really intruged by your warrior/native/voo doo wip. everything looks right for a great custom bash. where is the skirt from? that would be best used on a jimi hendrix or hippi custom w/ the peace sign buckle.

Some parts I got from Nova. Originally he was going to have a normal head, until I realized I had a black I got from him like... ten years ago or something. I realize the gloves should be white, but when dealing with only 2 colors, the wrist things and gloves in white would be just too much.]

Found some suitable legs. I love this torso, and the legs get the job done. Honestly I wish I could get a cast of that 25A Baroness butt. It’s a great butt piece, and it mods so well for this type of conversion.

that mountain scene is insane!

was the 2nd pic of black/white bender supposed to be different?

i see the ghost of a cobra emblem on that waist, but it disappears into the camo. is it a baroness waist or ?
