Robotech

I've only made one Robotech character so far and I don't have the vintage figure as Robotech is one of the few 80s toy lines I didn't have any of as a kid and didn't watch the cartoon. He is still a fun character to add to the project.

I loved some of the Hanna Barbera cartoons as a kid. Two of my favorites were Space Ghost and Blue Falcon with Dynomutt.

Was hoping we'd see these -- they're on my to-do list after I finally finish all my MOTU customs (so probably late fall 2024 :P )

They look great! What heads did you use for these guys? Is Ookla's just sculpted from scratch?

Thanks. Thundarr is a headcast I picked up, I sculpted Ookla from scratch and Ariel's hair is sculpted on a MTF head.

Trust me I understand....Saw Boss from Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors has been on my to do list for a year and a half and I'm finally working on him

I've made a few MOTU. I'll try and post them later.

Just went through your entire thread. Omg... I should've have checked before PMing you... this is phenomenal work! Your sets are so incredible! I appreciate bringing the female characters from COPS to life! In particular, Nightshade was my favourite. Seeing her nearly brought a tear to my eye. Also love Chuck Norris and Rambo! Thank you. What paints do you often use?

Oh man Thundarr was a great cartoon. I think it only had like 26 episodes though.

I've only made one person from D&D cartoon so far.

Hmmm.....I need to hit on one that you are really familiar with.

Lol. Yeah, I loved COPS. I've got lots of good 80s stuff coming definitely let me know what you think.

Unfortunately, I use Testors Model Masters but that has been discontinued. I've tried Vallejo and Citadel too. I'm going to try Citadel more so now.

love your motu! your roster goes deeper than mine too. everyone is true to the actual figured ,but match your project in over all style. it looks like you sculpted most of their outfits which is really cool. that beastman is flamboyant and just crazy good.
