Thanks for the positive feedback. =)

Worked some more on Prime 2. Got his Autobot symbols, repositioned the chest and started his weapon....

Got the 16" version finished....

At 1:18th- being 16"- he would be 24 feet tall.
I'm going to try and take Dio pics tomorrow.

Here's a look at, what I thought was, the finished Megatron. I soon found that he couldn't support his arm cannon- this is the second gun I made for him. So now I have to try something new and lighter.

Otherwise he's set.

The third time is the charm. Finally got Megatron's arm cannon sorted out. He can stand, and his arm can support if. Very happy.

Thanks, Sean. Now I've got to remake him in 16" scale. Aarg.

Why the two scales, I've missed where you've mentioned why you're doing these in two sizes? :)

The MP Prime and Megatron are 24" tall- this becomes 36' in 1:18th. They're more difficult and costly to put together. And, in the end, I think too large. At 16"- the second more animated looking Prime I did would be 24' at 1:18th scale. And that scale is easier to pose and assemble. Not to mention easier to get heads/parts for.
After Megatron and Prime I will not be continuing the 24" line. I'll be going with 16"-18" scale. I may even redo Prime so he has the MP look. For sure I'm redoing Megatron.

Totally off subject but I've always told myself if I was a millionare, the one thing I would do would buy old cars like the G1 autobots and make life size statues of them. I wonder if anyone has ever done anything like this?
