Your Joe is awesome.
Casual outfit, but once geared up, he's ready for action.
Terrific.

Thanks guys!

If you noticed, I made Joe a "Jr." Because I want the original to still be grounded in the mid 20th century. I've been toying around with the best way to use this head for awhile and I think this is the most fitting for what I wanted.

Billy, thanks on the kid figure. You know when I was a kid I only ever wanted to pretend I was a grown up character. But my son loves this one and is including himself in all these adventures much more literally than I used to. With that in mind, making this custom was quite rewarding

I'm sort of thinking that the "not Kwinn" looks like Chow Yun Fat...

In other news, these are particularly amazing. I'd never have thought of a modern Gandalf, but that is what he'd look like!

Wild. Gandalf reminds me of what an older John Constantine would look like if he made it to that age. Considering how many wizards sport the pipe (Elminster, etc.) a cigar is a nice change. Though I would get the inexpensive D&D miniature of the Grinning Imp to light his cigar for him, just because it would be better than the usual making fire from the fingers thing. I agree above, Not Kwinn could pass for a Jackie Chan. The AT team screams, as does the son customs. Too wild.

love how your son turned out. Love the family portrait. Completely overshadows your Adventure Team members. Completely. And that is saying something.

So the previous custom I just did of my son, was for my son - this one is for me. Same basic recipe, except that I only had one of those hoodie schleich figs at the time, so I made this one wearing a jersey (also a torso from a different Schleich or Papo child figurine).

Added the vest for good measure, and now I think I'm set.

Still looking for a head to make my youngest into a current figure (I know what I'll be using for an odler version).

Also, I have a second one of these jersey torsos, and plenty of other Hobbit and Anakin parts, so I think I might make one of him actually in a full sports uniform. My "custom family" exists mostly in my sci-fi verse, so I think I'll make him a Grav-Ball player for a Lite League (and yes, I have rules for Grav-Ball and a plan to show a major league event at some point in the drawn out version of my story ;) )

Also also, I found a 2nd hoodie torso, and will see about trying my hand at the Damien Wayne Robin I was challenged to, above ;)

Those new offspring figures are perfect.
Bravo sir.

The Joe & Jane figures are really nice, but those kid figures are TOP SHELF!!! Great job on putting them together. You are a master of mixing & matching different parts from different lines together & making them work.

Gaaway, I will tell you that these parts almost made themselves, they went together so well!

The Trouble Shooter debuted in a dio in that section, but I had not really put it up for critique yet. This is the 3rd PTE 8-wheeler I've painted thus far. I can definitely see the appeal of vehicle customizing, as even these simple ones have been ridiculously fun. While not exactly accurate to the original, this one was made as an homage to the old AT vehicle of the same name.

I decided to not go for an accurate depiction of the tech in the back of the original, but instead create some kind of communications hub reflective of more modern gear (satellite receivers, etc...) which might support various missions. I need better pics, but there is a removable phone receiver on the top, and some extra gear on the back which aren't really in these pics.

Love it!
The paint job and decal work are flawlessly executed, but for me the tech section in the back steals the show.
I really wish we had Big Lots around here. :(
