Thanks, man.

One last time.
I'm making this one 18" so 27' in 1:18th. I think this will nail the height and look I wanted to begin with.
The only tricky part is going to be the head. I need to upsize the MP version by 50%. I'm looking into some 3D print sites, but no luck so far.

In the meantime I'll get the body done.

What about those silly talking movie bots that were made for younger kids? I know they were about 12" tall, but their heads, arms and feet were kind of oversized.

Here is a nice pic to show the size of the head compaired to other Primes:

If you want strictly G1, a few years back, I got one of these and thought it would be perfect for a custom head. I think I got it at Toys r us and I'm sure they don't make them anymore, but maybe you can find them online.

Those look great! How tall, or wide, are the candy heads? I'm hoping they're at least 1 1/2" tall.
Thanks!!

I only have the Megatron, it's 1 1/2" exactly not counting that joint at the bottom. He's 1 3/8" wide at the bottom(his widest part).

Again, thanks. It looks good on him- got it mounted. And I have 1/2 the rivets on now too. Those things are such a PITA to deal with.

Edit: Rivets....

Based coated the head...

I would have been afraid that the head you chose would have been too cartoony but the alterations you made really help tone down that aspect.
