oh, I dunno, Vogel was an arrogant prick and a half, I can absolutely imagine the troops that served under him would be arrogant enought to have the bottle of champagne ready in the tank already to celebrate a successful mission, long before they even roll out of the motor pool.

Marcus, that's absolutely one of the most bad ass custom vehicles I've ever seen.

Shouldn't need to be said, but that may be the finest custom anything I've ever seen. 1000 and ten times cooler, easily, than anything Hasbro's put out for the line, or ever could.

A masterpiece, plain and simple! 8-O

OK. Once upon a time I believed that I could customize vehicles, heck I even won a JCA for being the best vehicle customizer in 2002.

I pay the most sincere homage to you sir.

Hands down and with no BS this has got to be best vehicle custom I have ever seen. At first I thought, wow this looks great. The detail on the outside was fantastic. However then I saw the inside and was even more impressed. If I collected Indiana Jones figures I would pay some pretty severe cash for this piece. I have never bought a custom before, but this one would be very tempting if I was an Indiana Jones collector.

Simply fantastic.

DanOfTheDead - Wow, that's very kind of you to say, mate. I think it actually looked a lot harder than it was though. :-)

Dave(Bek)Gray - Thanks as always, Dave. Been cool you keeping an eye on this all the way through. :-)

Darko - Lol! Cheers mate.

narceron - Thanks Simon. About the bottles, there's a food/ drink set available at Build-a-rama with similar bottles in. I had a few lying around so I thought I'd throw them in there.

night force cynic - J.D., 'preciate the comments mate. I agree the germans would have a piss up every now and again. They'd totally nick a few bottles of what-not from any villages they happened to be passing.

Straight Edge - Glad you're diggin' it, mate! Thanks for the reply. Always nice to read positive comments.

Stormavik - Those are fantastic compliments, mate. Very flattering, especially from someone as skilled at vehicle customs as you! :-D

This thing is really cool. I'm just now getting some time to be able to check other section of the board beyond the General Chat, and I'm glad I did! Really great work!

To call this a custom doesn't do it justice, as a custom implies that you started with some existing product and modified it. To build it literally from scratch and have it come off as precise and detailed and playable as this is, makes it something really in an entirely different class. So far, the only pieces I've seen on this scale that fit that mold are this, some of the fantastic work by JFKA075, and some work by a Star Wars guy named Glorbes.

Fantastic job, though this is obvious without me saying it. But it's also very appreciated that you went to such great lengths to show the detail along the way which will aid anyone who wants to try for their own copy, though going after such a daunting task in light of what you've just done here would not be for the faint of heart. lol.

Expectations have been truly exceeded, my brother. What you have here is a virtual custom masterpiece, and well worth every second of the wait. This is positively outstanding, master craftsmanship. A solid plan followed by excellent execution. She is accurate to the schematic, I will presume.

Truly, as a scratch-built item, this is completely transcendent. The level of detail inside and out is phenomenal. Were it not for the WIPs, who would believe that you had indeed constructed this from the floor up? Absolutely amazing work, and clearly among the best custom vehicles that I have ever put my eyes upon.

I believe that I had once predicted that this little lady would "ascend and rule the day", and she certainly has. Still, as stated, you have gone well above what anyone could have anticipated, that's for sure. You should be quite proud.

Gorgeous. That's a beauty!

The only thing I don't like is the flag. I think the pole looks way too clean and white right now, and needs to be smeared a bit to be in line with the tank's overall look ;-)
