Lex looks fantastic!
Deathstroke is another homerun.

If DCIH had looked like your figures, I would've bought them all!

Joker is really awesome. Nice choice with the Wolverine head.

Very much appreciate all the kind words and the great ideas people are floating in this thread.

Now for a questionable idea of my own -- Tomar Re:

I really have little affinity for this character or most of the other GL Corps members beyond Hal, but I grabbed a multi-pack on clearance at Target (mostly for the green construct weapons included) and decided to try and salvage the movie Tomar by adding articulation.

Obviously I had to sacrificethe integrity of the movie design and turn him into something of a comic/movie compromise, but I figured I had nothing to lose but some fodder and an otherwise worthless hunk of plastic. Plus, I'm still waiting for parts to arrive for the other DC customs I have planned, so I needed something to occupy my time.

What do you guys think?

I like Tomar-Re. He looks like a realistic version of the comic design and that's a good thing.

Please forward this on to Mattel for their eventual GL 2 movie line. That is how you do it.

Thanks, guys. Glad you dig Tomar.

A bunch of the fodder figures I ordered before the holidays arrived today.

I'd been waiting to use one of them, specifically the gray MU Hulk, to make this guy:

I have a more classic zombie-looking Grundy already, but my son's been clamoring for a giant ripped one (a'la JLU) for a while now so here it is.

What do you guys think?

Oh, I like that!

Definitely looks good.

What's the coat from?

Grundy Smash!!! This looks good the only things that I would alter would be to do a wash over the hair to make it stand out and to use some apoxie sculpt or other product to the jacket to add a few more details.

Thanks, guys.

Definitely want to give the hair a more textured appearance. Bet a wash would help with that. And had been thinking about trying to make some pockets and lapels from the coat scraps. Think I'll go ahead and do that.

I honestly don't know. It was the largest plastic cloak in my fodder bag, but the material is much stiffer than any other I have so I don't think it's from a Hasbro line. The bottom was already tattered, but when I cut the arm holes and the collar, I added the effect in those places. There's also a slit I carved up the back, both to give it that dead-guy's-coat appearance and to make it fit better.

I'll try to get a pic of that and some of the detail painting on the face (sunken eyes, yellow teeth) after I add some jacket details.

Okay...so i can't stop making DC bad guys, apparently.

Here's one I thought was going to be very easy, but actually turned out to be very involved:

Catwoman is essentially a modified and repainted X-23 with a microman head and hands. I've tried several options for goggles, but can't seem to find a set that look right. Any suggestions?

Next up is one that I had no idea how I was going to do until Veronica Mars suggested a good base body:

This is what would happen if MU Apocalypse and JLU Darkseid had a baby. Lower legs, arms, head and skirt are from the latter. Everything else is the former. I have to wait a few days for the skirt and lower arms to fully cure before I can matte coat them, but other than the shine what do you guys think?

Here's a group shot of all my MU-compatible DC baddies for scale:

^^^^ YES! They look incredible... only thing I can think of for goggles/mask on Catwoman is possibly Spawn NitroRiders - the Afterburn fig - might take some reworkin' & some huntin' one down - but I have a WiP head that I used them on & I really like how they turned out...??? Good job Spin :)
