Leatherneck is horrendously awesome. My retinas a burned with that image.

I love the Wet-Suit. I think I'll copy that one.

That Leatherneck was the last Joe I bought as a kid, so very cool to see him.

And Wetsuit just looks awesome, the muted orange really works.

Thanks guys. Leatherneck's pants are not quite as bright in person, but they came out very yellow - just the way I wanted :-D

Day 20 is up with Iceberg. Unfortunately, His snowboard is the shop for repainting at present.

Enjoy!

AMAZING.

This thread has been a trip down memory lane. It's so rare to see customs of EVERY. FIGURE. I. HAD. as a kid, greatest hit after greatest hit. Every time I visit, I'm left smiling, reminded of when I used to ride my bike to the drug store and buy Joes with my allowance, a couple figures a week for months.

Every piece is so well-crafted, and decisions where you had to reinvent a design (Heleviper) not only make sense, but look fantastic. They should be prototypes for a revival line at retail.

Thanks. I appreciate it.

Day 21 is up. We are starting the last stretch. Only 9 more to go after this.

Enjoy!

Can't believe you're still going strong with these! You're making some awful ARAH figures look amazing.

I wouldn't change a thing on the Alley Vipers, I actually think the v1 gear looks great, but I understand the appeal of accuracy. If you're still looking for the bat-nosed version of the visor, I think I have a few in blue. I can check when I get back from my trip.

The whole project is amazing!

Thanks Dan! I might take you up on your offer for the helmets. In the meantime, enjoy your trip.

Day 22 (I can't believe it's July 22nd already!) is up with another Cobra troop builder.

Enjoy!

I love this thread! They are all great. I've made a bunch of these figures, so i know what a pain those color schemes can be.

My favorite is Barricade. I didn't have those parts when i made mine, but your choices are inspired. I am going to have to make a new one with the parts you used, they are perfect.

Thanks Starbuck!

Day 23 is up with a bit of an odd couple - a cowboy pilot and a tough-as-nails Army Ranger.

Enjoy!

"LASER BLAST", that Beachhead makes me so happy. Great use of that head.

I missed the Bumble bee Vipers earlier. That group looks sharp. The Battle Corps Beachhead is a great figure so I'm glad you did such a good job with him. I agree that is a fantastic use for that head.

I love everything about your Wild Bill except for the head. Yeah, I know, but with that longer leaner body it just exaggerates exactly how small that head is.

Thanks guys. Beach Head is one of my favorites from this project. I agree for Wild Bill's head. I think RoC WB's head was bigger? If so, I think I'll try to hunt one down.
