Here's my modern Snow Serpent... Not much to change here. Great job Hasbro! Just added different ruck, new ammo pouches, repainted the blue, cast him an AK-103 and got rid of the parachute. (Wait, what? Parachute???)

Certainly a great looking figure. The little changes go a long way.

i like the removal of the shoulder fur. That part really bugs me on the Hasbro figure.

Nice job, now he seems somewhat more "effective", I don't know how to explain that. Maybe because of the less gear.

I didn't even notice the change to the fur until MAtthew pointed it out. He's absolutley right too. That one modification makes the figure look a lot better. Along with the other changes and toned down coloring this figure works.

Now what is he going to do if he falls into a crack in the Arctic . I always wondered about the parachute on these guys back in 85. That is the only thing I could think of back then. Plus it's a reserve chute . Maybe they used it to jump from mountain tops to surprise the Joes? Could be one of those unsolved mysteries that will never be solved .

Looks really sharp with the little changes. Thanks for sharing.

The chute is for base jumping off glaciers and snowy cliffs and stuff. That's my excuse for it anyway.

I love this custom. I'm a huge fan of arctic figures and this is a great variation on the Snow Serpent Hasbro gave us. Gives me ideas too. Very cool.

actually, all the fur bothers me, don't know why.

As far as the chute goes, I always assumed they had deployed using their main chute and just kept their reserve, never know when you'll need a section of canopy to make a dog sled, igloo, or mass grave joes, :)

Solid figure, better than the stock, for sure.
