I thought the extreme environment sets were pretty cool when I got mine yesterday.

But I wanted more.

I figured my desert Cobras needed a driver, and the hostile environment trooper felt more than halfway to a HISS Driver, so I gave it some nudges over the line.

And, while I was at it, I decided I wanted my Desert Vipers to be consistent in look and feel with regular Vipers, just a different color pallete.

And, finallya couple of tweaks to my very favortie Joe/Cobra character of all time.

Thoughts? Do they work.

Thanks guys.

Mixing the tan to match on the Hiss driver's thighs was a bear, so I'm glad it works for you.

I like the Hiss driver and the Viper but the star of this show is Major Bludd. Those simple touches and you just nailed the way the 25th Major should have looked.

HISS Driver and Viper are AMAZING! I like them as they come in the desert pack, but I'd love to have some like this too.

Bludd is very smooth, and a nice tweak.

Nice job on all 3!

I like that desert HISS Driver. I may have to do that myself. If I can mix the paint to match. What paints did you use and mix to get that color? Just so I have a starting point.

I plan on adding the articulated arm from my custom Bludd to the desert Bludd. It just looks so much better than mine (even though its nearly identical)

fantastic work all around.

I really applaud your effort to match the tan of the uniform for the HISS driver, no doubts how much of a pain the bear's ass that really was. I hate color matching anyway but tan? ick. superb work in the end though!

I used two different kinds of spray paint -- sprayed both onto a paper plate and stirred. So I had kind of a limited window to get it right. Trial and error and I got the right mix on the fourth try.

It was Krylon indoor/outdoor (NOT Fusion) "pebble," which is a very gray tan color, and Rustoleum yellow. Approximately a 2-to-1 ratio. I actually wonder if I could do it exactly the same again.

Nice work, i thought the hiss driver was just a quick head swap, very nice job matching paint colors!
