One of those characters who can have many different interpretations, but the most important thing is that when you see it you automatically know it's Drizzt. Excellent work.

Masterclass.

Beautiful. Not because I am as big a Drizz't shill as I am a Robin Hood shill. but because this custom screams.

I am in awe.

Very impressive. Which is no surprise, having checked out your stuff both on here and on your site. I don't know the character, and as someone who likes learning about interesting characters and figures via the customs of others, I'd have loved a bio or link explaining him a bit. But that's just me. I'm sure I'm in the minority of not knowing him, and it is definitely a piece of art whether I can appreciate its context or not.

AWESOME! Just fantastic. The head is dead on. The straps on the chest and the armor on the arms look like they were manufactured that way.

This was so amazing I had to call my wife over to see it. Phenomenal.

Out of curiosity, where are the cape and scimitars from?

Tq for the comments ... :)

For info on Drizzt -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drizzt_Do'Urden

The cape is modded from ST wave ... Think it's Mindbender or Shipwreck.

The Scimitars are made with putty... dun really look like Scims tho.

The figure looks great, the sculpting, the painting...everything is awesome.

I think the swords are the only thing I'd change...especially if you went to the trouble of creating them yourself...I kinda wish you'd have sculpted them to resemble their descriptions a bit better...also...curved the blads like Schimitar's are supposed to have.

Wow, that is just...masterful. While I haven't read much on Drizzt in some time, he's an iconic character that once you've "met" him in a book, you never forget him, and you captured him perfectly! :-)

Actually the swords are exactly as how many artisans as well as his miniatures portray Icingdeath and Twinkle. Even down to their unusual shape. Heck, even the legally mass produced reproductions look like your swords. The portrayal in the book would rule, but as we have seen in other renditions in other genres they create a look, and it sticks even if it contradicts.

I love 'em. Had I a third testicle I'd insist you march that badboy to the Hasbro owned Wizards of the Coast and show them the viability of doing Joe scale fantasy figures of iconic personas of the Forgotten Realms.

If I had the extra ball that is.
