Sidewinder's virtual 6 pack idea really got me thinking and here's what I jsut cobbled together at my cube I think the John Cena head's smug look works, I plan on painting the neck to match the face and the pants black and ad some gun metal to the chest piece. Suggestions anyone? |

That's a really great start, YJAGG. The head choice is especially cool. |

Yea, I am totally digging this. The Zartan/Bludd torso is a great choice and will mimic Blackout's chest armor well, and the Snake Eyes arms work great for the same reason. And using that head is BRILLIANT |

I really like the head and torso combo. I'm not sold on the arms and legs though. They don't look bad its just that Black Out's figure was so bulky I picture him a bit more muscular. In my head that was one of the distinguishing characteristics between the Stall brothers. If it were me I'd see how Bazooka's legs look on him. |

I was thinking the same thing, pluv...tho I'm not familiar with the character the arms just seem skinny to me. |

I grabbed the Cena figure planning on using the head for a custom as well, but for what I was going for, the noggin was just too big. Heck, it might actually be in the right proportion, it's just that it's huge next to other 25th figs. But, I think if you went with what Pluv is saying (especially if it fits the specific character better too) then the head would be much better proportioned, relative to the other figs. |

I see what your looking at it, I did want to use cobra PP trooper legs, but left them on another custom, but I think I will take this home and add SE 14 arms and legs http://www.yojoe.com/action/02/snakeeyes14.shtml to give him bulkier feel. |

What I like about that is that it keeps the joint paint to a minimum. I've been trying to do that as much as possible myself - pick parts that are close to the final vision, color wise. |

Maybe some Spy troops Lady Jaye cobra armband thingies (painted silver) to recreate the arm armor? It and the goggles are the most memorable things about Blackout. - R |

Oh... I'd rather NOT see you go with those Jvc arms.... Those ridiculous bulbous shoulders would look crazy on a 25A torso... |

while I agree with SEv14 thighs, I'm not sure about the rest. I think the current arms would work well enough, if you could just modify the forearms just a little bit. |

I like where you are going with this. Only thing I'm not fond of is the lower SE arms. I think its the big silver bands that make him look too small. |
