A simple one really, just had to paint up some jeans, texture his hair(using a wood burner and a micro tip), and affix the signature earring. Was originally going to make the hair the full out tendrils, but it would have obscured the earring, and also hampered some head movement, which I still wanted. Still might ask the impresarios or impresaria here to help me out with the Green Stuff for the tendrils in the back, if I go for it again. Had plans to make his Uncle Duvee, using the Taurus head and some artful Dremeling. The ponytail was actually the chin beard tail from a McFarlane Tyr figure. It had the right texture and tendrils for the curly hair. Used a different waist than the one that came with those legs, and suffered for it because it was a bit smaller in the hip sockets, so it already scratched the paint from friction in that area. Will have to fix that when next I'm in the mood. The earring was a pip. Originally had the full ring, then decided on half to make it lay against the neck. Attachment: Attachment: Also have his Mossberg that he was using, but it has a pistol grip instead of a stock. Will have to work on that with some artful cutting/adhereing. |

Cool looking figure. And I can already see he kicks ass. |

The modifications to the head look good. I probably would have changed the blue on the shirt to anything other then blue so it doens't look like a one piece work suit or something. Maybe darker jeans would have helped too. Ia gree that you shoudl change the waist. Not jsut because it scratches paint but because it looks too small. He looks like he is wearing really, really tight jeans. What is funny about this is I was just thinking this morning what a really cool code name Chance would be. |

Actually pluv, if you've seen Hard Target, the movie he's from, the chambray shirt and faded jeans are what he does his most ass kicking in. They are almost the same color. The waist was the best I could find, considering the original waist was quite unusable with all the leather pockets and such. As for the snug fit, in Hard Target, which is playing now on Encore, that's kind of V.D.'s signature also, showing off the ass kicking legs. It was either the blue ensemble, or the black and white flannel shirt with the tan pants. I made his black trench coat with the rolled up sleeves, but preferred to debut in the clothes he is most seen in. Also, if I was at all adept at the arm switch, I'd find a left arm with a watch instead of his right arm. He (in the movie) sports a watch with an additional compass on his left arm. I could probably fashion the watch from other stuff, but it's on my list of TTD(things to do). Mossberg shotgun first, then the watch . Okay, watching the movie more, might can do the black shirt with the white tank underneath, and the tan pants. |

I think the legs were from a comic pack Oktober guard figure(all figs get disassembled and thrown in their respective part bins). All grey with the classic blue and white neck sash. |

You've been telling me about this one for months, good to finally see him. He came out really sweet! Liking the pony tail a lot--blends right in there, and that earring worked out well (you've got far more patience than I to set something like that in, my friend. ) Very, very much liking how he came out. Excellent work, Cap! |

Pretty spiffy work, cap. Now let's get some shots of him balancing on a bike whilst driving downhill at the bad guys and shooting. |

Nice! Gotta love a JCVD custom, especially from one of his better movies. I think I can cross Chance off the list of customs based on JCVD's body of work, since you did such a great job. Now for Timecop, UniSols, and a decent movie Colonel Guile! |

Ya know before I read the story/ description I thought it was a ponytail version of Mel Gibson from lethal weapon. Either way it a cool custom. I gotta try that burning trick too. |

He also kind of looks like Val Kilmer in the front on view. |

While we're dropping names, it could pass for a youngish Steven Segal, too. Great work, Cap. |
