 Post subject: Pythona & Nemesis Immortal WIP - Need Imput

Okay for some of the SPOOKS bad guys I chose the old Cobra La guys with afew twists.. Basically Cobra La are kinda like Vampires.. Immortal Blood suckers, brain eaters, Human feeders etc.. Made up of primordial ooze, bad luck and maybe a bit of magic..

With Nemesis, I am going for, what Hasbro tried for and came short.. A Terror.. But I don't think Ive done much better.. I need some ideas on How to take Nemesis and turn him into a Horror.. I am considering changing his head for a more monstrous head (If I can find one) but other then that I am stumped..

With Pythona Im going for a horrific witch type.. She needs Claws and a staff but I am not sure what else I can do and she really looks weak in the 'I'm a bad ass witch that will eat your flesh' department.. Her outfit seems very Blah to me.. Ive considered giving her a white wash but I don't know if that will give the look I am going for. I need some ideas....

For Nemesis Enforcer, I'd go with a deader looking skin tone. gray, light blue, something where he doesn't look quite alive anymore. If you could paint some veins on his arms that might work as well. maybe some scars also.

His legs need a bit more ornamental looking footwear, even if it's just going to get banged up and dented, it should have looked like at some point he was dressed fearsomely.

Making his spikes look a bit more jagged and rough would help. Maybe a slight wash to give them a somewhat bloodstained look. I'm not quite sure if that would work.

Also if it's possible giving him more claw like hands.

I was thinking of doing very similar to my NE. I like the black and I agree that you should try a more dead color for the skin. The legs do need more armor. I'd see if you can find bigger wings (perhaps off a dragon toy of some sort) and use those, his wings are far too small to provide lift.

Shifting the skin color from caucasian flesh to a mottled mix of blues and greys would make NI look less human. That would be a good start in making him more menacing. Everything looks good so far!

if you can find a the fallen figure from the mutant x toyline from a while back.. he has the perfect.. transparent green bat wings.. .. and if you cant find that figure.. a dragon's wing might help..

I too echo that a different skin tone might be in order. Perhaps a light green wash? I would also go with painting the yes red.

Pythona is cool and I agree that she needs something. Damned if I can figure out what, tthough.

I filed down the ends of the wing hinge posts to fit the openings in Nemmy's "backpack" and then glued them in place (the hinge is at the top of the post so they can still "flap").

Chiming in a little late but the skin tone would help for a more monstrous look as well as what Chainsawviper was saying about dinging up the armor a bit. This guy is thousands of years old...bound to be some wear and tear. As for the wings, I picked up one of the McFarlne dragon's figures not too long ago for that very purpose.maybe something along the lines of Torn and snaggeled. The eyes could be a big play, maybe a solid color, Black, Blue, Red or just plain white could work. It takes the human out of him.
