The Avengers - Hawkeye and Captain America

I'm breaking my rule of no more Marvel Universe customs and I thought I would start with Hawkeye! I saw the head at Tri-Gate and knew it was time to add the avenging bowman to my collection. Hawkeye is my favorite avenger and I hope this custom shows that.

I'm a big Hawkeye fan, and that is a nice figure. Just pick up a DCIH Green Arrow for his quiver and bow and you'll have a real winner. Great work man.

very cool. Great job on a great character.

Since I think the Marvel figs have been and will be hit or miss, I think you're going to be fine doing Marvel customs, and probably be much happier with your own versions. The DCIH figs leave you no choice but to keep making your own superior versions, but I think you'll find the Marvel line only occassionally will give you a fig you don't have to modify to some extent. So break that no-Marvel-rule as often as you can!

I like this one. He's straight out of the comic, at least the 70's and 80's comics. I like the more contemporary version of his mask that makes the eye "wings" a little smaller on his head. He does need a better bow and a quiver.

Thanks for the comments guys. I was kinda in a rush to get this posted as I have a quiver but have misplaced at this time. As for the bow of Green Arrow IH ,Its kinda small and would need to be modified.Also Dr.Bindy that was my reason for breaking the rule I felt while some of the MU figures were impressive there could be work done with some of the hits and misses which brings me to my next MU custom .The star spangled avenger Captain America. Special thanks to Spectre who made this custom possible with a recent trade.and to Tri gate creations for there cap head. I like the Ultimate version of cap but I like classic cap a lot better. The main problem with the Cap in the MU line was his head sculpt. The head from Tri gate fixed that I then added brighter blue colors and used boot tops from a POTC figure modded to the Cap boots. Hope everyone likes this and feel free to bash if you dont.
