I've recently had a little time to finish up a couple of things, and completely redo one or two others... So first, I was never happy with my original Xenia Onatopp or Halo jump Bond, so I did them over again Xenia, take 1 And now my new, much more satisfying 2nd take: And my new Living Daylights/Tomorrow Never Dies halo jump Bond: And now an all new custom from one of my personal favorites- From Russia With Love's Tatiana Romanova http://theenvelope.latimes.com/media/ph ... 472260.jpg I have also finished my Ballistic (Top Cow comics' Cyberforce) as good as she's going to get I think And, for the sheer fun of it, I made this one for my friend Chief to go in with all his Gotham City goodness, from the Hitman comic, I give you Dogwelder: So... What do you think? |

Xenia v1 was good. Xenia v2 is FOW! HALO Bond is awesome! Tatiana...needs something with her upper arms and lower legs. The paint apps unfortunately seemed to add a lot of celluloid to and otherwise super custom. Sorry, Lance... Ballistic looks great (could be chamatt'd as a 'Nok though) Dogwelder is completely outta left field and is way cool. |

I love your head choice for your 2nd Xenia. Very true to the look of the actress who portrayed her. I do like the way the legs look on your v1 better, though. Tatiana is cool. In that I believe this is the 1st 1/18 scale ballerina. Ballistic is very well put together, but I think that head still looks too strong. Maybe that hair on a different head. Dog Welder is simply, flat out awesome. When you were talking about doing this one, I had a hard time visualizing it. You pulled it off incredibly. |

Xenia looks WAY better with Elsa's head -- I might have to copy that. I dig the other mods as well. Jump Bond is cool - the gear really offsets the larger GC head. Tatiana is fantastic - It's obvious you made a ton of mods -- what's the parts list? I'm still not sold on the young Indy head for Ballistic, but the figure is friggin' outstanding. What did you use for her torso/waist again? Dogwelder looks awesome - and I guess I'll have to go research the character - my initial thoughts are a little macabre right now But this'll be a great addition to the rogue's gallery (unless you've got another friend named "chief"....) Just beautiful |

The head for Xenia is much improved. Tatiana looks really good part wise. She's a neat looking figure. Dogwelder is very cool. I'd probably add a piece of black or see through dark colored plastic to the face mask though. Maybe some old camera film would do the trick. |

He fights crime by welding puppies to criminals' faces." It's not often that something can elicit a combination of "WTF?!?", horror, and giggles from me. Holy crap, Sputters - you've outdone yourself |

She's in a nightgown, not a ballerina! Although, ironically, the character's background IS that she was trained in the ballet, but she grew an inch taller than regulations, so the commies wouldn't let her keep being a ballerina. I don't expect that you knew this though... Thus the irony Chief wrote: Tatiana is fantastic - It's obvious you made a ton of mods -- what's the parts list? Romanova: Head: pilot Scarlett with a hair bun from a VOTC Leia Upper body: Lady J Lower body: Scarlett Upper arms: Scarlett Lower arms: Lady J Legs: Scarlett Feet: Marion Ravenwood LEKTOR coding maching: A cast typewriter I gor from Killuminati a few years ago Skirt: Hand sewn Ballistic uses the torso from a Street Fighter or King Of Fighters gashapon. The waist is just a v1 Baroness, sanded down to fit the Solo belt. As to the head... Yea, I suppose it is a bit strong still, but I figure they don't have to be actually attractive females... Inspite of her giant video game hooters. It's sort of amusing, because the head looks so effeminate on the Young Indy body. River Phoenix was never what I would describe as masculine. I've sanded down some of the lines a bit and I think it works well enough for me, so... Thanks for the feedback! Nice updates all around. And nice new additions as well. Dogwelder? lol. I'd be curious to be in your mind to know how your creative process works, even if it might make me a little scared, or make me cry just a bit. lol. Anyway, the execution on all these figs is top notch. I'm not a huge fan of young Indy as a female either, but I know where you are coming from with that one. And these are your best made Bond figs yet. I also know where you are coming from when it comes to revisions, as it feels like I spend more time revising old figs than I do making new ones! |

Nice updates to figures that I thought were already cool. The Dogwelder is just hilarious. |

I know you're copying existing designs...so I'll forgive your overdose of skanktitude figures. The Mutt arms on Xenia are a big improvement...just be careful they don't stick out too far...you're bordering on JVC baroness type shoulder balls. Bond looks good...I'd prolly paint the hands black to look like gloves rather than stalkers fleshy glove hands. Tatiana...It's a night-gown? Not sure if you can do it...but making the fabric a little less conical, more cylindrical would help...also attaching it to the outside of the upper torso instead of under it would help to reinforce that the top and fabric are all one item of soon to be removed clothing. Ballistic looks good...even with her comicly large rack. Did your light kit come with any type of diffuser? The lights you're using are pretty bright and it's giving you some harsh shadows/highlights. A softer fill light I think would show off the improvements you made to the head better. I had no clue what Dog Welder was when you showed him to me...I think I was better off then. How exactly does one weld a dog to a face? you can't exactly weld meat... |

nova wrote: How exactly does one weld a dog to a face? you can't exactly weld meat... There are somethings in this world I don't want an answer to. I'd chalk this question up as one of them. I'm going to just assume that given enough heat just about anything will stick to something else.

Ouch, although the Dogwelder is just from a comic and just some plastic custom figure, I hate him. But that's just me, I can't stand even the idea of people harming dogs (or animals in general). It does look very much like the guy in the comic picture, that's the nicest thing I can say about it. Tim 121RVC |

Impressive would be an understatement! Rockage to the Nth would be more accurate. The Bond is so stealworthy it isn't remotely funny I told you before, you are dangerously close to becoming far too cool for us . |
