Here's a few I've had in the works for a while. Finally had the chance to put the finishing touches on them today. My SS is very similar to Darko's. I had a very similar approach to mine in the works when he posted his. I borrowed some of his ideas to capture the feel he had success with.

Mara is from the Memories of Mara toon.

Leon has been a labor of love for a long time. I think I bought the head from JFAK nearly 2 years ago, and then went through a long process of finding the right parts to work. I modded the torso to be able to switch from jacketed to unjacketed versions.

As always, feel free to share your thoughts!

Leon is friggin sweet. Great paint, awesome details on the coat, and inspired mods for the coat to coatless versions. Awesome.

Thanks Dennis. It was actually a fairly easy mod to do. Basically what I did was to thin down the top section of the lower torso peg with my Dremel. Next I made a slightly bigger hole in the top part of the torso. Then I used the hot glue neck-ball fix method to create a flexible joint in the upper section, and it was done.

The interchangeable torso on Kennedy is FANtastic! Great idea!

Now I'm even more impressed with this. For some reason, I wasn't picturing that approach at all. But it makes perfect sense. Does he retain the mid-torso articulation? It's less of an issue on the coat version, but I'm just curious. VERY impressed with this.

Also, SS is cool, and it does look like you and Darko had the same blueprints in mind - both look top notch.

I'm not familiar with Mara or the back story, and can't give the same level of overall review, but she looks well made. And I need to take notes on what you did for the fleshtone, as I'm still working on making a Thrawn custom to bring into the EXCAL verse.

To answer the first question, the figure still has full mobility because the only thing adjusted was the thicker, top part of the peg. I was worried about bit this as I was making it, but it turned out fine.

Mara was a test subject to a Cobra experiment to create troopers who could breathe underwater. She escaped and crossed path with Shippy who ended up having a thing for her. I tried to find a youtube link, but no luck there. As far as the skintone, its just Apple Barrel Sky Blue thinned down a bit to give a smoother appearance.

All three are great looking figures. Leon really stands out. He was certainly worth the wait. :-D

The torso-swap for removable jackets that actually FIT is an inspired innovation, I really don't think I'd seen that solution before.

Looks great!

Some great looking figures, but I'm more impressed by the mechanical ingenuity.

I expect your customizing breakthrough to see repeated use in the near future.

One of my very fav episodes. I did a couple versions of Mara afew years back. This one is great. I really enjoy seeing people do these never seen in figure form characters be it comic or toon. Great work man.

Leon is probably one of the most innovative customs I've seen in a while. You took advantage of what most people consider a negative about this style of figure. The fact that the work on him is phenomenal just makes it all the better. Really, if I could could send you a dump truck filled with praise, I would because this figure is worth it.

Mara looks great. Like she stepped right out of the cartoon. I want Hasbro to make that figure in the worst way.

Storm Shadow looks good too, but compared to the other two he gets the back seat over the hump.

Hey TR, another one with Rockage to the Nth.

Loving the Leon (as well as the others) and dash cunning on how to make it removable. Oh, I wanted to make sure, you made the Ada with the Serafina body yes/no? Because yours inspired me to do another dress one is that fashion and I always wish to give appropriate credit for where an idea comes from.

Rockage, and then some.

As dirty as it sounds, JFAK John and Jin Saotome give excellent Resident Evil head(s).

They all look great (I had a feeling that I wasn't the only one working on a SS based on that basic formula), but the torso swap thing is over and above awesome. However, I confuse easily and lack imagination, so could you at some point make a tutorial with pictures so I can pillage your ideas?

solid, I really like the scenic base, is that from Rhino?

Looks like it got some love as well.

interchangable torsos, what will you kids think of next?

yeah interchangable torsos..hmmm can you shed a little more light and info how you do that cuz isn't the upper torso glued so you couldn't just keep switching them around unless you keep glueing them together. I really think you found something important and clver in the custom world.

All 3 look great but still Leon man...
