World War II era Captain America Vs Red Skull.

Captain America: He was made using a General Hawk figure with sculpted Helmet, Face mask, Jacket, Shield, Leggings, and a few little bits.

Red Skull: He was made using a Cobra Commander with Sculpted medals, and also the entire head was sculpted to resemble the Red skull from the comics. I gave him a look as though he has a thin layer of skin left so he could smile. Also I made sure to put eyes on this guy because he always had eyes in the comics.

Bases: Both bases were sculpted from scratch to resemble a battlefield environment.

Thank you very much and hope to hear your comments.

I like the Red Skull quite a bit. Everything there works especially the cigar.

The mask on Capt. America isn't quite right. It might have to do with the helmet not being the typical WWII helmet but mostly is looks more like a gas mask and not like goggles.

The mask is throwing me off a bit as well, but over all these customs are awesome.
Great choice of parts and paints.

You have some bad ass sculpting skills. Very impressive- both the figures and the bases.
Looking forward to more.

Wow, impressive sculpting and paint apps! I too feel something is off a bit on Cap's head. I think the goggles may be too far apart. If you brought them closer together, it may even out the look of the head.

Awesome, the paints, sculpting and parts choices. I'll be looking forward to seeing more from you.

Your figures are just plain beautiful. The sculpting on these guys is excellent; the leggings and chest on Captain America are particularly well-done. The paint-jobs are great, too: the detail work on the Red Skull's medals and buttons really the figure pop, and the weathering on Captain America is perfect: he looks battle-worn, but the dirt and grime isn't overdone (an easy trap to fall into).

The only real criticism I have is that I'm not crazy about the molded-on smoke. It looks great, and it's appropriate for the style of figure you're making, though; it's just a personal preference.

Oh, and hats off for making display bases for the figures. They'd look great on their own, but the bases really add to the overall look of the piece.

Fantastic work on these guys. I can't wait to see more work from you.

I just saw these this morning over at Fwoosh.

Great job here! I think the mask part on Cap is a little low and that is what is throwing it off. Not sure on the sculpted on smoke. I might would have gone for some cotton on it instead. Other than those things, Awesome job man.
